Seeing Availability beyond 60 days

My 60 day window will be opening in a couple of weeks. We will be a party of 4 for the first part of the trip, and a party of 3 for the second part. Since we are staying for 8 nights, I can book for 60+8. But I don't have much of a sense of what availability will look like for 60+1, or 60+4, etc. When I look right now at what is available 60 days out on MDE, the pickings are truly terrible. There is virtually nothing available.

Is there any way to see what is available now in the current 61-70 day window? That would, I think, give me a better chance of what availability is going to look like when my own booking window opens. (Maybe, based on what I learn, I might try to move my park reservations around in order to maximize our chances of getting the ADRs we want.)

For instance, we will do HS on 60+2. Do you think Sci Fi would be available for lunch? And we are doing Epcot on 60+3. We have a long tradition of doing Biergarten for lunch and San Angel Inn for dinner on our Epcot day. That's not a tradition I want to break. Do you think those reservations would be available when my window opens?

Again, is there any way to get a sense of how quickly the reservations are filling up? Is there any way see what things look like right now at 60+x?

I don't know of a way to see availability farther out unless there's someone with a longer stay than yours who is willing to check for you. I think your best bet may be to use general knowledge of hard-to-get ADRs and check the 60-day availability to help prioritize your bookings so you're ready when your window opens.

Of course, ADRs earlier in your trip will be harder to get than later due to the 60+ window. In general, I'd say that ADRs for dinner will be harder to get than lunch, because more people will prefer a sit-down meal in the evening and QS for lunch, especially in the summer. Sci Fi is popular and a hard ADR to get even pre-Covid/social distancing, so that will be tough if it's early in your trip. San Angel Inn seems to be harder to get than Biergarten.

I just checked 60 days out (6/24) and there is lots of availability at Biergarten and San Angel Inn for lunch, but dinner not so much...only one very early slot (4:10pm) at Biergarten and nothing for San Angel Inn. Not surprisingly, nothing at all for Sci Fi.

That said, if you're unable to get what you want right when your window opens, all hope is not lost! Keep checking...cancellations happen and things open up. Try checking both the app and the website, and checking "Lunch/Dinner" slots as well as for specific times, because I have found availability will sometimes show up for one but not the other. Try checking for different numbers of people in your party (3, 4, 5, etc.), because it can be easier to add/remove people from an ADR once you have it. Also, keep an eye on the June Cancelled ADR Thread to see if anyone is cancelling an ADR you need. Good luck! :)

Other than getting reports from other people on their experience in the 61+ day window, I do not think there is any way to get a feel for what might be available.

As for your specific questions, I think that 62 days out you are going to be right on the edge for getting Sci Fi. It may depend on how far off of peak times you are willing to go. I was able to snag a Sci Fi for 8 people for our June trip on day 65, but the only available option was 3:00 pm, which is not really ideal. (I did, however, get an Oga's ADR that same day at 11:40 am, so the two work out pretty well for a fun day of lunch).

I think 63 days you should be fine for Biergarten lunch. San Angel Inn might be a little tougher, but I think you will be fine there too, especially for a party of 3 or 4. We got a Biergarten dinner on day 61 at 7:00 pm for a party of 8, and San Angel Inn on day 64 at 5:00 pm.

The main thing is to try and push your harder reservations later in your trip if you can, and book them first when you get online. If you are wanting to do Sci Fi, Oga's, Be Our Guest, CRT, etc., you will want to try and get them as quickly as you can when your window opens up. Save the ones that are not as hard to get (like Biergarten) and book them after you have ones like Sci Fi lined up.
