I hope everyone participates in SYATP 2005. Just go to your school's flagpole at 7am and pray. That's it. Most schools have something organized as I know mine does but if not just go on your own and set an example for your student body. Even if you can't attend or get there the important thing is to be praying. So get out there and pray! :wave2:

We're doing it. But I can't get to school early enough. I'm not very religious anyways.

Pray for what?

That question is why I'm not going.

I dont know what that is. is it for the katrina victims?

Prayin for them isn't going to put them in a better situation. :confused3

That's a matter of opinion.

I'm NOT SURE, so don't take my word for it, but I think its an annual thing that you can pray about whatever you want, but with your friends and so everyone's supportive and respectful of everyone else's beliefs. yeah.. i think that's it.

No, it's not. Praying wont give the victims of Katrina houses or water or food or money.

See you at the pole is a national thing. Schools do it every year and it is a really up lifting thing. I went today and it was really good. My friend's brother had his guitar and we sang. It is a beatiful day and it was good :)

If you believe in god then it's a matter of praying and asking him to help and if you believe in him he somehow magically will. I don't know really, I don't go to church so I have no big opinion on it

I'm not very religious, and I don't believe in magic, so yeah that's probably why I have my opinion on the issue.

RIGHT. So it IS a matter of opinion. You have yours, others have theirs.

We have it, but I'm not going. It's too early, plus I'm not too religious either. I still love God though, even if I don't go to church much or any of that stuff. :)

i slept through it iim soooo mad i missed it...my school handed out flyers yesterday and everything...im soo mad i wish i went idk if a lot of people were there but w/e i guess if im religious enough it doesnt matter...
