See Wishes at 8:00 if have a 9:00 reservation

I think I probably know the answer to this but thought I would ask anyway. We are planning a last minute trip to Disney the week of Jan 21st and are finding ADRs somewhat limited (at least at our fav places). The earliest dinner ressie I could get at Cali Grill was 9:00. Will they allow you to go up to the bar early so that we could still see Wishes. If not, any other suggestions for somewhere in the Contemporary that we should go?
