We are taking a 14 day trip in March. We have 10 day passes. Andrew will have a GAC, as he has in his other two trips that were much shorter. I have heard of people using a see through lanyard doey for holding their GAC,. This is a brilliant idea as I don't want to lose it or wear it out taking it in and out of a pocket. Can anyone share what they bought and where??

Most lanyard holders only big enough for a ticket..the GAC are quite large...I wanna say like 3x5. Someone else may be able to correct me..I am at work. We kept ours in the front pouch of a messenger bag I took.

Hi did you check with Ricky at lanyard lab (see google). If he doesn't make it he probably knows people who do. And is a great guy to boot.

I got one at office max for about 5 dollars. it was perfect

In the past I just folded mine in half and put it in the clear plastic ticket holder I buy at WDW. I was able to hold it out and they could see the stamp and date on it. I don't remember every having to take it out. I didn't get a GAC this last time so it has been about 2 years since I did this.

I use a hydro pak, plastic water holder part from hydropak that usually is on the inside of their paks.

I called the company and just ask for pak. They were more than kind and it works great because it is water proof for splash, Kali, etc and is big enough for the GAC to fit into easily.

Just to give you fair warning. Due to rising cases of GACs being counterfeited, you may still be required to remove your GAC often. Many of the CMs will now require that you let them hold and examine the card before allowing you to enter attractions. At least this was our experience while we were there in July and the reason we were given. The plastic cover/lanyard is still a great way to keep it handy and protected from rain and getting wet on water rides. :thumbsup2

We got an ID holder that is clear plastic with a black lanyard and fits the GAC. It also has a zipper part that you can put a few singles in for quick access. I paid $4.19 at Office Max:thumbsup2. Best idea for the GAC;). I saw someone with this last year and was kicking myself for not thinking of this :headache:. I had my GAC folded in my pocket and it was not looking too good by our last day :scared1:

Thanks for the heads up. That is fine, don't mind that at all. Just was worried pulling it in and out of pockets for 2 weeks.

MY GAC simply is in the regular lanyard holder. I folded it once, having the most important info (like my name, type of GAC etc.) on the outside and non imortant info (like rules) on the inside. For most CM's that is enough, I can just turn over the lanyard holder and they see what they need to see. Might also be because my GAC is a bit different and still requires some talking to CM at most rides to figure out which help works best. (it varies too greatly per ride and show and even day or time what assistance I might need to use one basic type of GAC).

I put my KTTW-card within that folded GAC, so it's still easy enough to reach when I need it. Although when knowing I won't need the GAC for an amount of time, I'll put the KTTW-card on top of the GAC and make sure the KTTW-card is showing, not the GAC. My lanyard holder lies down on my lap when wearing lanyard around neck, and I have noticed some glares, comments etc if the GAC is too visably for all to see. Don't want my mom to notice them (she's a bit touchy when it comes to my health and needs), so that way nobody sees it when not needed.
