If I only have a stroller and no bag, does it have to be checked by security? Thanks

Unfortunately that's isn't simple yes or no question. Yes it will have to be checked, but prior to the new screening areas rolled out two weeks ago, I know you could still take it through the no bags line and it would be quickly checked. I would assume this is still the case, but I'm not positive

That would be great. We would stuff out pockets and go if that is the case.

It depends. Does your stroller have under the stroller storage or is it a stroller that just holds the kid and nothing else?

Usually if someone doesn't realize that a stroller needs to go through bag check and security sees them coming up without much stuff on or under the stroller, they'll quickly peek and then let through. The norm though is that they'll motion the strollers to go through bag check. I've seen countless people try to push the stroller through the no bag line then get furious when their told they need to go through security

At Epcot in Feb they had all strollers (and accompanying family members) go to the far right in one line

It's just a double umbrella stroller with two very tiny baskets, maybe the size of a wallet on the back.

Thank you. I wouldn't get furious because rules are there for a reason, but it would be great if I could skip bag check. I think I can manage without a bag if it meant getting in faster. Worse comes to worse I would buy the extra outfit in the park if need be.

As someone who goes through the no bag line regularly I see a strollers enter through the line too. The security there will stop the person with the stroller to take a glance at the underneath/back to be sure there is nothing there and then let them on in. I've not personally seen them send someone with a stroller to the bag line just because they have a stroller. Only if there is a bag like a backpack or diaper bag. If all storage is empty more than likely you are fine in the no bag line

Word of note about stuffing your pockets. Again, as someone who uses the no bag line I'll advise that most every time we enter we have to go through the metal detector. So we have to empty pockets. Can be a real pain if you stuff them full to avoid a bag line.

Thank you. We will just be stuffed with phones, money and little stuff I hope. I night be wishfully thinking since I am a overpacker! My youngest is almost 3. I always have baby wipes and an extra outfit packed for him, but rarely actually use it. Bottles of water and some sunblock is the only other thing I think I might regret not having.

Sunblock is not cheap in the parks, so that is not something to skimp on. If you have anything in your stroller they will give it the once over. I've even seen them open up the hoods and look at them.

if you are picked for scanners be prepared to have to empty pockets and from my last trip most times if I was bagless I got picked for scanner
On our 2 park opening days at MK and Epcot, everyone went through the metal detectors.
