have been looking at flights for Hawaii. last night we saw one for £732 pp was over £850 to £950.
So took the plunge and booked
went through booking process all ok did the verified by visa and then screen said to phone up bank
did this and they said as it was an unusual transaction they stopped it. retry in 10 min and will be ok.
Then get an invoice for netflights with an invoice for transaction but balance to pay is the full amount
checked this mornning and price gone up
Son says the invoice is a legally binding contract they have to honour,have to wait until 10am till they open to ring them and pay.
Fingers crossed they we get the price we want.
Also there was insurance for if the airline went bust to get back home, you were unable to uncheck it,so had to pay. thought they couldn't add things to price,as the law changed make them show everything included ie CC/deit card fees ect.will pay then argue the case

Apparently they do it twice - for what reason nobody seemed to know and then they refund the one back to you seemed really odd to me but according to the bank United are notorious for it!
