Hi Everyone! We've been to Universal 3 times..2008,2010,2014. Each time for 1 day park to park. We are FINALLY staying there for 4 nights, with 3 day park to park passes. After visiting in 2014 and seeing Diagon Alley, I decided to watch all of the Harry Potters. Even without seeing one movie, the details that Universal did were amazing. With that being said, I LOVED the movies and cannot wait to go back and recognize things from the movies and actually know what I'm looking at lol :rotfl2: Anyway, I've read somewhere, that the bathrooms in Hogsmeade have the voice of moaning mrytle which I can't wait to hear! But it got me thinking, What other Secret things are in WWOHP...If you know of any, please post :-)

A lot of the signs and fake buildings are references to the movies/books; even the fake shops in "London" before entering Diagon Alley have some interesting things. In "London" you can see 13 Grimmauld Place, watch the windows as Kreatcher the house elf will peer out occasionally. In "london" if you go in the red phone bow, supposedly, if you dial 62442 (Magic...IE What Mr Weasley dials to access visitor's entrance in the Ministry) you should hear a message play...it didn't work for me, but it might have been broken.

If you dine inside 3 Broomsticks, look up often. You can see owl's and house elves' shadows.

In US...in Magical Menagerie, if you look up, there's a Crumple-Horned Snorkak. In their window is a large snake that will speak to you in Parseltongue and English.

Gringott's walkthrough, pre-ride, pay attention to the newspapers...there's one of the Weasley family's vacation.

Bourgin & Burke's has the Vanishing Cabinet...if it's quiet in there, you can hear the bird chirping inside from the movie. The Hand of Glory is in their window display.

King's Cross Station....the perfume poster is a tribute to the one in the movies.

In Madame Malkins store Robes for all Occasions.........when trying on your robe, stand in front of the mirror.........it may say nice things......or it may not.......lol. Hermione's Yule Ball dress and an outfit of Dumbledores is in here too.

The magical menagerie store.......look in the window nearest the bathrooms........the snake will talk to you.......in parseltongue of course.......then English.

Mr Mulpeppers Apothacary.......look in the window display and you can see a set of sharks teeth in tribute to Jaws. As DA sits in the land that used to be Jaws.

In Borgin and Burkes in Knockturn Alley, listen at the Vanishing Cabinet, you can hear a bird chirping inside it like from the Half Blood Prince.

In the money exchange shop, you can ask the goblin any question and he will answer you. Very cool!

Behind the Weasleys Wizard Wheezes is the statue of the mermaid used in Goblet of Fire

Ask any of the employees in Kings Cross how to find platform 9 3/4............very funny!!!

Watch the animatronic at the front of Weasleys wizard wheezes........it looks as though he's just tipping his hat, but every so often a rabbit appears quickly and disappears again.

I'm sure there more and some obvious ones, like the Knight Bus conductor Stan Shunpike who will interact with you and the Talking Shrunken Head........Kreacher appearing at the window of Grimmauld Place.

Keep your eyes peeled..........:D

Originally, I wasn't going to say anything as it seemed as if everyone got just about everything and I've learned a few things myself with everyone's other posts, however one thing with the Vanishing Cabinet no one mentioned is not only you can hear the bird chirp, but also if you place your hand upon it, you can feel as if a bird is moving around inside. A nice lady who was working in Ollivander's happened to mention this to me and I was surprised to hear this. I tried it for myself and I thought it was cool.

^ I hadn't heard that one! I will be trying that this summer!

I will definitely check this out!! Thanks :-)

If you'll be getting an interacrtive wand, don't forgot to hang onto the map that comes with it.

Knock turn alley is really the only place to reveal the invisible ink on your map. Unless you find somewhere else with a black light of course.

There are some spell locations that aren't listed on the map. Really keep your eyes on those store fronts pixiedust:

Thought it was 12 Grimmauld Place. It's the door that's not marked. To get Kreacher to appear knock on the door. and watch the window up top.

Professor Moody's trunk is in Borgin and Burkes. You can here it rattling about. It's under a table in the back left corner if you're looking at the register.

There's a book on Amazon of just WWOHP and Diagon Alley for Orlando. I have it and keep forgetting to use it.

Make sure you ride the train both ways. It's different on to and from Hogwarts. You can catch voldy on one of the rides but you really have to pay attention.

At the Castle- I believe it's the Potions class room if you listen you used to be able to hear someone talking to a student. Neville maybe? I always forget to stop and listen to that one.

Yep, number 12...not sure if it was a typo on my part, or I had just got done reading about watching the houses 11 and 13, and not seeing 12

3rding that Kreacher just appears.

Next up: READING the books. You will be amazed at how much the movies ignored and changed entirely. I'm re-re-re-re-reading currently (and re-reading them to hubby and son, who apparently like how I read them) and they are really good books.

Never heard of it work with knocking.

He's set to appear automatically at regular intervals according to TM.

Okay, but Ive done the knocking thing three times and he's appear immediately after I knock... so While I believe you on that he just appears. Either I have REALLY good timing or it also works with knocking.

I just call Kreature on the phone before arriving. Then he comes out to see me. o_O

The shrunken heads in Knockturn Alley sing a variety of songs. One is "Show me the way to go home" a tribute to Jaws the attraction that formerly occupied that location. There are also Jaws references at the bookstore in the London Waterfront.
