I think I am just about there - I have had a nightmare of a week.

A dear friend passed away on Monday, Tuesday eve we were in london saying goodbye to DS whos off to America, Wed we had a 6 hour round trip to Norwich to empty DS house and last night were were out with the in-laws as FIL birthday.

I just need to re-check that i'm happy with everything then get it wrapped an posted - hopefully tomorrow.

He was only diagnosed with the big C 4 months ago - but it wasnt good even then
He wasnt in any pain - on no morphine at all - but he went down hill very quickly last week and was in the hospice for a week before he left us on Monday

Him and his wife had only been to dinner with us the week before and he had eaten like a horse

He had only retired from The Job just over a year ago, having served 33 years - and went straight to another job - he was 54 years old.

He'll be sorely missed and I give my DH an extra big hug every night as i'm so lucky to have him

Sorry I haven't been around... been very hectic at work and I've had a couple of days in Devon to relax too!
What fantastic presents! Well, I recieved mine this morning... thank you DIS friend I love it!

I recieved a gorgeous pink Radley notebook, an 'I heart MK' pen, a Lush bath set (smells amazing!) and three massive bags of M&Ms!

Thankyou so much... I love it all!
