I am very sorry to my Secret Sister but do to all the upheveal at work this week my package won't be postal until Monday. We got our testing scores in and found out that we would have a large administration change in our school this week. I am so fried.

Glad I went back and re-read that last sentence.. I thought you said you were so FIRED! Thank goodness that is not the case...
Administration change.. whoa! Hope it goes smoothly...or as smoothly as it can..

The hardest part of the administration change is that our school board lied to us about what was happening. Most of the staff was hoping for our VP to move up to principal since our principal was retiring. The school board said their would be no lateral transfer this year. They set a day for interviews (May 15th). Then yesterday we hgad a staff meeting and the superintendant said they they had decided to move the principal from the middle school down to our school. She has been at the middle school her entire career so she has no elementary expeirience. Also most of our facuality doesn't know her. I personally am friends through church with her so I am not worried about it although I was very comfortable with our VP. He gave me a glowing evaluation this year and has told my team leader that if he was to pick teachers to open the new school with him I would be at the top of his list.

My biggest fear is that the teachers take out the school board's choice on the new principal- she didn't want our school.

I understand Rebecca.. that happened her a few years ago.. a teacher was promoted to principal (she had all the credentials)..but because she was expecting people threw a hissy... She has been the best thing that has happened to that school...and our test scores have continued to raise every year with her guidance...and she is all about the kids.. the heck w/ the politics!

I just got home from WDW and was so excited to see a great package from Kim (knovak)!!! Thanks so much for everything. I haven't had time to look through everything, but I see some stuff that is perfect to use with pictures from this trip. I am going to settle the kids down and post more when I have a some free time.

Sorry I've been MIA for most of last week - never fails, I get home from WDW and I bring home a bug. I have bronchitis and was home sick most of last week. I did have a chance to ship out my SS package on Thursday but it went postal not UPS.

On a happier note, I just had to share - I graduated yesterday and this morning I went in to the hospital to sign the papers - it's official - as soon as I pass my boards, I will be a NICU NURSE!!!!!!!!!
