Seriously, I can't wait!!! :) This has been the best swap.. it's been so fun to do and be part of...can't wait for another!!! :)

Thank you SS!!! :)

I will be mailing my package out on Monday. I have a few more items to pick up. Having 2 weeks of the flu/strep in my house put me a little behind this month. It should be worth the wait. :santa:

Got my november package--it came while I was in CA, so I just got it. I got such neat stuff!

A journal with a pink cover, mickey head silhouette and name! Perfect--I had a journal on my list to get, but this is much, much better!
Card charms--pink, purple, blue, gold, tangerine flowers. Can't wait to use them on cards!
Two sets of the neatest pooh stickers--I've never seen them before.
Incredibles stickers.
A baggie full of eyelets, brads, buttons, paper clips, gemstones.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU secret sister! :cheer2:

My december package will go out this weekend.

My package went out this morning- It should be there in 6 to 10 days! I hope my buddy likes it! I had a lot of fun putting it together.

Well, I got the measuring sitck out this afternoon and there was 18 inches of snow in my driveway with drifts way above that, and then of course the city came by and made sure that they made at least a two foot high ice dam at the end of it. And, yes, they plowed only the center of the street (a good 15 feet from the mailbox). It took 2 hours just to clear the driveway. The front door has drifts up to my waist in front of it which will wait till either it melts or Spring!

Needless to say there was no mail delivery or anything here today, etc, etc, etc.

Wow! You beat us. I believe we got about 8-10 inches. That with the ice the day before was enough to close schools for 2 days.

Plus, someone hit our mailboxes--the metal ones, one for packages and one for neighborhood. They knocked the package one completely over--taillights and pieces of bumper all over--and the other is leaning, but still up, for now. Think it was a young kid messing around, how would you like to explain that one to your dad? :guilty:

That happened to my mailbox on Thanksgiving.....came home and found it on the ground. One of my neighbors had the same things happen. I think it was some neighborhood kids, too.

Thanks for your offer, Nancy. It's cold here now, too.

The city came past again later last night after everything was cleared in my driveway and plowed me back in with huge chunks of ice-covered snow. I had to go to a funeral at 10 AM and happened to check outside at 8 AM and saw the mess. Got it cleared out again followed by a quick shower and got out of here in time. Summer anyone?!

We tend to have some really bad weather for the first couple of months of winter and then you wonder where it went. Anyway, I'm in the mood to bake!

That stinks I hope they replace them quickly.

But I have to admit it made me lol!

About 10 years ago I was living in a condo and we had those big boxes outside. Each one had about 40 leter boxes, was probably about 2.5' high and 3' wide and on a metal pedestal that was about 2.5' high.
Anyway, one day I come home from work and get my mail and a neighbor was there. We start talking and I lean up against the box while she's getting her mail out.
Yep, you guessed it..... the thing fell over! :lmao:
The base was completely rusted out but you couldn't see it because they had decorative stones around it. The thing was there on it's side for 2 weeks until they got it replaced.
