Oh there's no one better at cheap attention then me; but that wasn't cheap attention at the ESPN Club- spilling a drink on people is just my way of "bonding". .


On a side note. . .

I know there has been a considerable amount of tension lately here on the CB, and while I would never expect or even want this place to become a forum where there is never a difference of opinion expressed or where everyone feels they have to put on some kind of phony show of liking people they don't, I do think it would be to everyone's benefit to call a "truce" and refrain from taking shots at others just because there's an opening.

I'm honestly not singling anyone out because it's widespread and I see it as cycle where it happens to someone and they feel justified in doing it back, then it happens to them again, then friends take sides and do it, then it keeps going on and on until no one can post anything without opening themselves up for an insult that generally has nothing to do with what they even posted.

I know many feel like the CB/DIS "isn't what it used to be"; and maybe if everyone could make a concerted effort to break the cycle things would loosen up and be a little more fun again around here.

And for the record; Pebsz said several times in the original thread and again in this one that her "secret" was something important in her life and she didn't expect it to be important to anyone else; she was just having some fun with it and all I was doing was kidding around with an old friend I hadn't seen for awhile. . .


Again; I'm not singling anyone out here- I'm just taking the opportunity to say something that's been on my mind for awhile now. . .

Congrats Pebbleszzz, it is so exciting to know you are starting fresh. Prompted by a thread earlier today, I've been researching how to become a flight attendant, so maybe you'll see me post this same post after awhile.

I quit a job I was unhappy at 18 months ago (when youngest DD was born). Best idea I ever had. My life is much more stress-free now despite my 2 DDs and DH!

Some people just wake up in the morning angry at others because they can't take responsibility for their own lives, I guess.
