Secret Inside/porthole rooms?

Has anyone ever stayed in these...Are they hard to get!

A few are listed for a 3/31/05 cruise I am interested in...

I've not stayed in them yet, but if I were you, I'd go ahead and book. Our party of 8 has 3 of them booked for the October 9, 05 Wonder cruise, and I think Dana may have said the others were taken as well (?).

From what I read they do go very quickly.

We stayed in room 5522 on our last cruise and loved it. It was definitely a good deal.

We've had secret porthole rooms 2 times now. 5522 and then 5022 on the other side. My only advice is that if you are not traveling with the people on the the connecting room, you might hear more than you care to. 2/2002 we stayed in 5022 and when the cabin mates next door got sick we heard it all. 5522 was a connector too but it was my Mom and Brother. I loved that cabin best.

SPR staterooms are a good deal, particularly on the 7 day, where for 4 (2 adults, 2 children) you could save as much as $600.00 vs a cat 9....Although on the 3 or 4 day, cat 9s are nearly the same cost (within $100-$150), and there are plenty of those available....
