Secret Green Club - whatever number thread

That is awesome.... Congrats! :woohoo:
Thanks!
How is David's new job going??? Hope he loves it!!
That is sooo cool! I'd come to your graduation, but I think my daughter graduates the same night! ;):rotfl:

That is so exciting! Congratulations...ahhh I remember 40!

:rotfl2::rotfl2: These kids are making me feel OLD! everyone is graduating, getting married, etc!!! We need a :wizard: to turn back time! That is why I wanted to go on this cruise NOW, while the kids still want to!:rotfl:

Congrats to TotBoy!
Heather, that sounds wonderful. I can totally understand the scheduling to make the price better. We usually get stuck because our schedules are so inflexible.

I hear ya on the scheduling. We really debated it because the kids will miss 4 days of school. But even with the other dates, they would have missed 3, so other than paying a fortune to go in the summer or at Christmas, we decided to go for it. It has to be extra hard for you and Brian, since you can't take off during school.

Hello and congrats to Totboy!

Heather, the cruise sounds wonderful, and I don't blame you at all for scheduling, gotta do it when it makes sense.

Hi to Brandi, how's the new job for hubby??

Hi to PD and Danielle, too!

Well Hello everyone! its been a solid year or so since i've visited the boards, so I thought i would check in to say hello :goodvibes

School is just about to be over and ill be graduating by the end of the month! Crazy to think that when i was first on here i was in 6th or 7th grade.
Well, no need for me to ramble any longer. Have a wonderful day everyone and i'll try my best to stop by more often :goodvibes
Congrats on graduating!! I know it was a hard road at times, but you made it!! Well almost! Any idea of where or what you will do next?

Hi Peeps!!! I have some very good news! As you can see from my signature, my dreams have come true! I always wanted to spend my 40th Birthday doing something Disney related, and we will be on a 4 nt cruise on the Dream!! I am BEYOND over the moon! We are actually going A little before my birthday, as it falls over President's weekend, and the prices were muchg higher. Now to wait for Southwest and Air Tran to release airfare!
This sounds so much fun! and I too remember 40! Before I turned 41, Krista made an unexpected arrival! Well I was 4 months shy of 41 when she arrived, but I had no idea that I would have a baby at 40. ...And you don't need to either!!

Danielle, when does school end for you?

And when for anyone else?
J & K get out the 13th. Jeff has his first job, as a junior counselor at Y camp. He will be assisting with the 4 yr - 8 year old kids. I am so happy he is fitting in with the older counselors & they were very impressed at the answers he gave at his job interview. He is in training now & will work part time this summer. Part time cause he won't be 16 until July 8, & then he will volunteer the rest of the time so he won't be just sitting at home!

PD - always good to see you!:cool2:

Kristi - I hope things get better with you and your sister. It is hard when your paths seem to diverge in different directions. Know I will be praying for you and yours!

Brandi - how are you and David getting along traveling in different directions? Finding new ways to spend quality time together? Hope the job is going well & he either settles in or finds his hearts desire soon.

Lots of rain here, but all is going along. Hope all is well with each of you!

Hi, Kat. We seem to have leveled back off, which is good, I guess. Our last day of school was today, I took off at 1:30 so I could pick the girls up from school on their last day, and took vacation for the rest of the week. On Friday, the girls and I are going to Wilderness Lake Preserve, the housing area where my parents and brother live and we hope to soon, we were invited to a pool party there, by another resident who is/was a DIS-er, but I don't remember what her username was, Theresa Harvison. She is one of a few folks that are/were initially known to me from the DIS that live around here (another is Forsenuf). It is kinda cool that I am getting to meet a few more of the "internet" folks down here.

Kat - Friday is the students' last day. I'll be in next week to finish my room. Even though I really love my class, I'm very ready for them to move on. We had beach day today, where we bring a bunch of little pools and water toys. Unfortunately, the high was 67, and the kids were shivering. They still didn't want to get out of the water, though!:beach:

David is really enjoying his job and is actually really lovin his commute, 16 minutes each way.

He is dropping me off at the train station and heading to work, finishing his day and returning home and getting dinner ready, picking me up at the train station and us going home...

I am not liking it at all, I wish I was able to stay home more, but we will make it work.

Amen, Sista!:scared1: Brian's Aunt thought she was in menopause and had a baby at 45:eek: Her youngest before him was 22. No thank you!!!

That sounds like a fun day. Today was the last full day here, then they have half says tomorrow-Thurs. Teachers get out Monday. Enjoy your summer!:woohoo:

Wow are we slowing down!

Jeff is away at Leaders camp. Krista & I have had a decent week. I now know who makes me late leaving the house, and it isn't us girls!

Krista will be 13 tomorrow. My last one to be a teen. She got to go to Water Country with some girl friends (& their mom) from church. Well, it started out just them & then 2 other families joined in. I so want to be there, wearing myself out & probably cooking my back skin into lobster shades! Oh well, taking the 13th of July off to have a ladies day without kids. They will be at camp. Now to figure out what we will do!

Hopefully the heat will go away soon here. A cold front is suppose to go through & make it in the mid to upper 80's. I'd rather have mid to upper 70's but anything is better than the 95 - 98 degrees we've been having this week. At least it isn't to humid on top of it.

Hope all's summer is going great & the kids as well as the adults have adjusted to the new schedules!

BTW, where are all our limeys? And how did we drop to about 5 of us posting so irregulary
:rolleyes1

Hi Kat!!! Sounds like you have a busy summer. I think that darn real life has gotten in the way of everyone's DIS time. That and Facebook, but we can't be goofy and silly there all the time like we used to be here.

So true! And as our kids get older & more involved in stuff, it is hard to get on either site. And when I do, I play games. Bad me. I have been checking out a few friends pages, but my internet time is so little now the kids are home the same time I am and they get there first! course, I go to bed earlier than them also. :rotfl:

So know of any plans to get together next summer at Disney? We are thinking of planning, but got to see how the budget goes. Saving for it though!

I am here and I must say that life gets in the way... I must say that I do know that my limey's are only a post away. I miss you all and truly Cherish you...

Hugs,
brandi

Hi, everyone! I agree that life gets in the way, definitely. But I love knowing that if I needed to talk, I could find you guys! And Facebook definitely gets in the way, at our house we are addicted to Avengers at the moment, and seem to spend WAY too much time on it! On the positive side though, I am WAY ahead of Rick, which NEVER happens on any games.

Brian and I are in So Cal visiting my sister. We went to DL and Cars Land at CA. I will post pictures here when we get home. Hugs to all.

Very cool! Can't wait to see the pics!
My Aunt leaves for WDW Monday. She is suprising her hubby with a Cars suite for his 60th B-day. He is a big car nut, so he will love it, I'm sure. I can't wait to see more pics of Art of Animation.

Hi, Allie! It seems like forever since I saw you on here! We are having fun with Debby down here in FL.
