Secret Green Club - whatever number thread

Hi all! Just flying through, as usual.

Danielle & Brandi, I am so sorry for you loss. My friend, who had the many different cancers during the last decade died last week. Her memorial service is this Saturday. She was doing so well after the last round of radiation when it went to her brain. Her PET scan even came back clear. She had a great appitite (sp), had learned to walk again & was up to using a cane. At church that Wed., she was so happy, chatting and moving so freely. Thurs. morning she had a seizure from some lesions on the back of her brain that the radiation had no effect on. by last Tues., she was unresponsive and one of the lesions was bleeding in her brain. She passed last Thurs.

There has been so much death this year, 5 that have been close to me. :scared1:

Glad to hear that so many are out of their leg "appliances" and are moving forward. Chip as been released to start putting weight on his leg after surgery on the 4th. They had to cut the bone & put it straight, and if anyone wants to see how they take the rod out of a bone, we do have a video! Just let me know.

Also wanted to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my birthday twin! Hope your weather is as good as mine and that your year is going to be great!

More when I can. Miss you guys!

:grouphug: So sorry to hear about your friend. Many prayers for you and her family! I know it is hard but for us the good times are what help us thru all of it. We are here if you need us...

Glad to hear that the surgery went so well and that he has been cleared to put weight on it. I think I will pass on the video, or at least until after my surgery. I am usually ok with all of this but for some reason right now I can't stop thinking about it.

We miss you too, have a great day!:cheer2:

Hi Peeps! Sorry, Reality got in the way!:sad1:

However, In 21 days, I will be getting off of a plane at MCO and getting ready to take my first "monorail" ride of the trip...right over to the ME bus!:cool1::cool1::cool1: I am sooo excited! We need this trip so bad now. :grouphug::laundy:

Well I am excited for you.... Have you made all of your ADRs?

Yes!!! I made them all back in May. I actually do need to sit down and take a closer look at them. There are a couple where I wasn't sure what park we would want that day, so I have lunch in one park and dinner in another. I have to cancel what we don't need, so someone else can get them.

We are doing:
Chef Mickey's
50's Prime Time Cafe
Yak & Yeti
Le Cellier
Akershus (leaning towards Cancelling)
Coral Reef
and Liberty Tree Tavern for Thanksgiving lunch

Soo excited!!!
This will be our first time at Yak & Yeti, Le Cellier and Akershus.

These all look great...

We ate at Yak & Yeti for the first time in October and I was so glad... We had the dim sum platter for two and it was so good...

Heather, we have had Askerhouse twice for breakfast. It was real good. I have heard lunch & dinner are also, but Krista eats only certain things. So have passed on it for now.

Brandi, thanks for the well wishes & positive thoughts!

PD - Hola!

And greetings to the rest!

The menu looked really good there, plus, it will make for a nice break, I think. Le Cellier is one I have never been to, believe it or not...I always try, but can never get in. this time I got everything I wanted my first try (as much as it is a pain, there is something to be said for the 180 day window...even got LTT for Thanksgiving right away)
Howdy!

We are going for Dinner. The menu isn't doing much for me, but if Martina decides she wants to eat with Princesses, then that is our best option. Thought about the breakfast, but it just isn't a good use of dining plan credits for us. Then again, neither is eating a dinner we don't really want :rolleyes1

Well i miss my Limey's. :sad1:

I miss you all, too. I keep thinking things will be less sad and crazy, but there's tons to do. I come home from work exhausted every night.
Heather, I'm right there with you. 23 days until our DL trip, and I am hoping it will be good for the whole family.

I miss everyone too, and I AM going to figure out a time to come up to Orlando and see you Heather! We've just got to get through this week. The furniture movers were SUPPOSED to be packing out my stuff today in Iowa, but apparently the driver cancelled at the last minute, now we don't have a truck (we are going through Nationwide relocations). So Rick is off work today and tomorrow, but now has no truck to be there to load out, which means we PROBABLY won't be getting our furniture on Friday, so I moved the bed out of my room into Meagan's in preparation for that movement a little too soon. Rick's truck is supposed to be picked up on Friday and he is flying down here on Saturday, so I guess we'll figure out who is sleeping where at that point. Other than that, work is CRAZY right now.

Heather, did you guys get buried in the snow?

 Hang in there Danielle! You all need this trip so bad, too!

We lost power the other day as I was in the middle of doing laundry, so I decided to pack our summer stuff for our trip, as there was still plenty of light to do that. Now I just need to pack jeans, socks and undies! I am already less stressed, as I have had so much stuff to do, and things are piling up.

Ugh! Hope everything gets there soon! How frustrating.

We got about 6 inches of snow/sleet. Lost power for about 4 hrs on Sat, which wound up cancelling our dinner for Martina. I had to go break up ice on the front steps earlier so that the trick or treaters dont slip tonight. THAT is the most frustrating part...never thought I'd have to consider ice when dealing with Halloween:scared1:

Thought I'd bump us back up so all can see us!

Hope everyone had a decent Halloween. We had a good one at church with great food, fun & lots of candy!

Same stuff dragging me down, but I am working hard at getting to bed earlier. Report cards come ut shortly, so that will change lots of things, again!

More later!

Halloween was crazy fun in kindergarten. We had a lot of parent volunteers, which was great, but also meant running from group to group to keep things going.
It's been crazy trying to get all the testing done for report cards, especially because I've missed 7 days taking care of first my mom, then her memorial, then the legal stuff. My colleagues have been great, though. I've been trying to cram in some fun stuff between all the testing. Thank God the parents don't crab when I'm five minutes late giving them back their kids at the end of the day.

Morning all....

Well it has been a very busy week and everyone is doing well here we have a fun weekend planned...

We are going to see George Hamilton in La Cage tonight at the theater and the Saturday we are going to a Navy football game here in Annapolis...

Sunday is grocery shopping and cleaning house and doing laundry!

Then we get to start it all over again!:banana::banana:

hugs :grouphug: to everyone, hope things start looking up soon!

Hi Peeps!!!:grouphug: In exactly 2 weeks, (my ticker is off) I will be on the Magical Express bus, just about to pull up to POFQ!!!:cool1: I am already at the "too excited to sleep" point, and have a lot packed already:rolleyes1 I need to find some Disney Thanksgiving window clings....the kids want to decorate the room windows. These next 2 weeks at work are going to go by so SLOW!

Glad you had a nice Halloween....ours was nice, but white:headache:. We have a TON of candy left, since we didn't get as many kids as we normally do, but the kids still had a good time.
