My niece's husband made Minnie Mouse candy apples for his DD's b-day party today. They were fabulous. He said the recipe came from DL. Apple covered in caramel, then 1 end dipped in frosting and then red sugar, the rest covered in dark chocolate, and dark chocolate-covered marshmallows for the ears.

Well I do have a trip to Canada for work in there, and two more to Orlando for work that I did not list.

So between business and pleasure I am spending way too much time on a plane lately...

David and I are debating on seeing the Capital Fireworks, or cleaning house and cars....... Tough decision.

We are going to Frankenmuth on Sunday for the night. The family is running on Monday.. I'll be on the sidelines cheering them on

Tomorrow night we are going to a Toledo Mudhens Game..

We are going to Frankenmuth on Sunday for the night. The family is running on Monday.. I'll be on the sidelines cheering them on

Tomorrow night we are going to a Toledo Mudhens Game..

The sad part is I really don't want to be in the crowds or the traffic to see the fireworks, so I bet I stay home and clean house.

I have a ton of stuff to give away and then change out closets and scrub my house. Being away so much leaves a lot of things undone, and it catches up after awhile.

I am even taking off tomorrow and Monday is a holiday so 4 whole days to clean house!

And you to let you know, I have been drinking this Van Gogh Vodka, it is Acai and Blueberry, straight up it is wonderful!

The Dutch Chocolate is second and third is the Espresso, it even has caffeine in it.....

We are having friends over for crabs on Sunday. No big plans for the rest of the weekend. I'm sure I'l do some (both kinds)

We went down to DC to see the fireworks once, and it was awesome, but the traffic and crowds were awful. We took the Metro in from Silver Springs, but it took forever to get back out, cause all the trains were full. This was years ago though....
