Too funny! There are definitely some characters in Tampa too, wait till you come see the folks in and around Ybor City!

T, what are the dates of your Universal trip? I need to figure out a plan to come up!

I will be in Tampa the night of the 24th for the ball game. Staying in a hotel there!

Didn't get close enough to see!! Yeah, we sure would get noticed and could sell pickles (or just about anything). Hey, another way to raise some Disney Dollars!!

Get this -- she also was calling out - "I've got Obama and Palin condoms!!" I mean, were their pix on them? Ya know I would have walked back to check but with the girls ...

Sam's comment was, "well, that was real interesting"

When we were there with the 8th grade trip one of the boys wanted one. So I said go buy one.. He was like REALLY?? I said hey if you have the nerve to go up and buy condoms then more power to ya.. Couldn't tell if he was more excited that he got the condoms or that I let him buy them.

T, that's awesome! How did I not know that?? I missed that entirely! Where are you staying? Right downtown or in St Pete's? (I think the baseball team stadium is St Pete, if I'm not mistaken, the hockey team plays at the Forum, which is 3 blocks from my job). I am going to have to make sure we get together. Too bad you aren't staying a couple days, we could do Busch Gardens, the Aquarium, etc...

We're back from L.A. (went to see POTC at the Disney El Capitan theater in Hollywood). we saw a lot of characters, too. A "lady" who would do your makeup stood out. I passed on that one.

He bought the girls on the trip each a pretty cloissonne' pin from a street vendor. Later in the day, one of the girls pointed out that you could open the pins, and they had condoms inside. Fr. Jon had to collect all of the condoms. Can you imagine what their parents would have said?

I so love it!! Happy Hump Day! One more week & I get my truck back and send the "boat" back home!

for the past few weeks this young man has been wandering up & down our street, shirt hanging out of his back pocket, pants hugging his hips. My first thought.....




POOL BOY!!!

2nd thought...I have been alone waaaayyyyy to long!

He came by over the weekend while Jeff & I were starting the lawn mower. Got a bad spark plug so he got his brother's stuff off his landscaping truck and did it for us! Yeah! He is 20 1/2 & he and Jeff sat around drinking sodas & talking video games.

Oh, well... maybe I should put a pool in. What do ya'll think?
