Secret Green Club - whatever number thread

Happy b-day to Meagan and David! And Chip said thanks for al the prayers & positive thoughts. He also said you westerners could keep all the rain that is coming in here tomorrow. He can already feel it in his bones and said it is going to be a monster!

Thanks for the hugs everyone my Gram passed quietly on Friday afternoon (I made it over after work just in time!) She is much better off and in a far better place where her mind works good as it ever did in her youth. My Gramp is doing ok right now - my mom's been with him since Last Thursday and will stay till Friday then my aunt from Oregon is staying till the 19th.

Kat sounds like chip could use this :wizard::hug: to keep the pain at bay and Brandi's hubby too..

and happy birthday to Meag and David !!!

xo Michelle

Michelle here is more hugs for you:hug: I will keep your family in my prayers....

Thanks, everyone. Meag is all kinds of excited to be old enough for a facebook account of her own, LOL.

Kat, I think I MIGHT have signed up a LONG time ago on Circle of Moms, don't really remember. Hope Chip does okay with the wet yucky weather, hopefully they can get him some relief!

Brandi, thanks for the warning there! She is a VERY young acting girl, but we are starting the past couple months to see a bit of attitude starting, so I am definitely not going to be off the hook with that!

(((Michelle))) So very sorry about your grandma.

Thanks for the good wishes for the drs appts.

For me it started with the eye's rolling.... I really thought I was going to pinch her head off one day, when she did it to me. Needless to say she has not done it again!

My 17 year old is very young for her age also, but every once in awhile she will doing something that takes me back a step or two...

Like I said, Good Luck with that, more for you making it through her teenage years! Maybe I should do more :laundy:

Mine is 6 and I alread so a lot of :laundy: I really can't wait for the teenage years :rolleyes1

T, just think, you could be us and have 2 girls to be in the teen years at the same time, right? Catie is already fully in the teen attitude too, and has been almost forever, I swear. Meagan was just commenting that she wishes she could meet your kids, she is sure she would have a great time with Em and Nick (couldn't care less about Anthony, LOL) ;)

Well Kristi you can tell her that one day when we finally do meet in person the kids are all hers!!!:goodvibes

Oh and Rick can have Anthony so he can see what its like to have a boy :teeth:

For me it started with the eye's rolling.... I really thought I was going to pinch her head off one day, when she did it to me. Needless to say she has not done it again! I get the open and closed fingers with the words "nag, nag, nag"! And she gets higher & whiner. Should of had her with the early ones so I'd be past this now.! But I would miss the comfort I get from her when she isn't pouting, stomping or whining. <sigh>
My 17 year old is very young for her age also, but every once in awhile she will doing something that takes me back a step or two... Krista at "11 and 3/4's" :eyeroll: looks 7 -8 acts 13 in attitude & 5-6 in age at times. Younever know which one you will be talking to or at you! Like I said, Good Luck with that, more for you making it through her teenage years! Maybe I should do more :laundy:

Oh, yes you can wait! I am glad Kris is a little young acting so we don't have all the quibbling over clothes & everything. If she keeps up with her reading, she and Jeff will get their driving permits at the same time. Now that is :scared1: (have to read at 6th grade level. He will be 15 in June and no where close to reding that high a level!)

Mary, praying for a good Doc report!

Kat, Meag isn't super into clothes yet, either, but Catie is getting there. Of late she only wants to wear her Aeropostale, Hollister, etc tees, usually with a tank. She will occasionally wear clothes from Target, but only ones SHE picked out, as she says most of their clothes are for "babies". She's 10!! She's getting close to jr sizes, too, unlike Meagan who is still easy in the size 12's. and doesn't really seem to care about the clothes so much as far as brand is concerned, she LOVES wearing dresses and skirts the best.

So, my 17 is small, she is 4'10" and 90 pounds, we buy her jeans at Kohl's in the kids dept, but they have to be plain (no decorations what so every, just plain blue!). What is cute, is she like the adjustable waist on them because hers is so small, she can adjust and people will not see her undies.... :rolleyes1
