Secret Green Club - whatever number thread

Not as good as yours last week, that's for sure!!! Right now somewhere around $1100 is the best price I can find. Ugh! I am thinking to priceline it this weekend with the name your own price and see what it throws back at me.

Do you have Jet Blue or Airtran near you? I have seen some great fares from here on both of those. Good luck!:thumbsup2

Neither one fly's into or out of Omaha....

Hey, you're not Kristi!:rolleyes1:lmao:

That stinks. I would have had to drive to Dulles (Washington DC) for Jet Blue, but saw a $69 fare! Too bad nothing is out for our trip back home. I volunteered to stay behind in Disney, but that didn't go over very well. :teeth:

We tend to fly nonstop out of BWI on Southwest. we got $49 each way to MCO

I have never tried Jet Blue, but airtran is ok.

Out of PHL it is UsAir, Southwest or AirTran, unless you want a lot of layovers. I always lean towards SW now, due to no baggage fees. My fingers are crossed that AirTran goes that route too, now that they are owned by SW. With the 4 of us $25 for each bag can tack $200 on to the whole trip.

The whole baggage fee thing sucks!

I like SW, I know I got an email from SW the other day explaining that they will not merge the rewards programs until after a year of reviewing the two programs, so I am not sure how much they are bringing them together?

Well, I did find a decent price ($935) on Delta, but we'd have to drive into Kansas City to get it. I totally think it is worth the $200, now to convince Rick! AND, that price can bring us in on the 28th late at night, too...so we could possibly have that day back... of course, I can't get ASMu for the 28th at the moment (or anything in value), but hey, if I had to I could get a cheap hotel by the airport, or talk my sister into letting us crash at her place (assuming she has one by then) for the night, and head to the hotel in the morning, or let sis take us to Universal for part of that day, etc.... the possibilities are endless! Also, I found parking in KC for $24 for the week, $4 per day or partial day. Not too shabby!

I love southwest!!! Heather...I've gotten great fares out of BWI...and their airport isn't that hard to navigate...I get more confused in philly int'l

I really just wanted to stop by and say hi. :)

Hi, Kelly! We love SW when we can get it, but they are generally a LOT more expensive here than most of the other options. Heather, contrary to Rick's earlier statement, we CAN get AirTran here too, but they aren't very affordable for us either. Generally the most affordable are Delta or American, sometimes Continental.

Hi!!!
Yeah, I always check BWI too. My in-laws live so close to PHL, that it has to be a really good savings, since we usually spend the night before at their house and they drop us off (free, safe parking!) I can do Allentown too, but most of their flights connect through PHL anyway.

LOL! We are the opposite, tons of connections, so higher prices on Delta and American. Although I DID consider the one Delta flight that connected through Detroit. :teeth: In the end though, as much as I want to see T, it didn't make sense to spend $480pp and 6.5 hrs to do what should be a 2.5 hr flight.

Happy Cinco De Mayo!!!
It is also National day of Prayer. is it wrong to pray for World Peace while sipping a Margarita?:confused3

That seems completely reasonable to me, Heather! Well, I just decided that I am not gonna look anymore today, will check again tomorrow, when I can actually book, assuming we find something. It seems pointless to me to keep looking, and is frustrating cause I see a decent fare one time, and then the next time I look it is gone.

Cheapest days to book are midweek... Thats what all the online tips say and it worked for me as well.. My flights shot up big time on the weekend.. But that could have just been for here..

 Hi Kelly :teeth:

Sounds like lots of fun to me, you have plenty of time to pack!

That is what the night before is for....:cheer2:
