Hang in there, Kathy. I feel for you. I don't have any advice on the engine, except to say, over 92,000 miles is a lot of miles. If the rest of the car seems like it's holding up well, fine. Otherwise, you may have to think about parking it near a busy corner and praying that someone with good insurance nails it (JK).
Yeah the body is great shape but still gonna let it go. Thought it would be a good heavy car for the kids when they start driving, but that is gonna be a long time out. Gotta find out where the title is or make a time to go get one this week. It is parked out under some mighty big trees and with the high winds & tornados in the area this last Sat., I did have hope. But it was still fine on Sunday afternoon when I went to clean it out. The weirdist part of it is that it died on the 8th, 3 months from when he died. Maybe it didn't like me? 
Yes, the school could be in big trouble for not following the plan, and I'd say the results should not be used. Frustrating!
