oh ok... I grew up in the court house, in the criminal court of Bexar County in San Antonio, TX.... My father was a Stenographer, and the judge used to let me sit up at the bench next to the bailiff... crazy times back then.

Good morning, everyone! PD, good luck in court! Brandi, it is obviously meant to be, you MUST own that purse! LOL

T, we have LOTS of pine trees too. We also have SNOW on the ground again, as it snowed last night.

Is it bad that I have this May trip all booked and I am wishing we were staying at FQ instead of the lodge? I can't change it, Rick would have a fit, and I know that WL will be awesome, but I just was reading on the FQ page and seeing pics from someone who arrived last night, and I really loved the feel of that place, it made me miss it! IF we end up being able to go in October or something, I definitely want to go back to FQ! I wish they would open up monthly payments on AP's to other than FL residents. That would make life SO much easier to afford to do! Oh, well...

So my brother flew back to Tampa this morning, he was home for the birth of beautiful little Collins, got here on the 16th, Collins was born on the 17th. And they had his baptism on Sunday, so he was here for that as well. Next he flies back on the 15th of April, and he and my dad are leaving either the night of the 15th or morning of the 16th and driving down to FL with truckloads of their stuff, while my mother, sister in law and the baby will fly down on the 17th. After that, no one knows when they will be back to visit. I haven't told anyone in my family that we are going to be in FL in May, because I didn't want word to get to Catie about it, but once they are down there I intend to text or facebook message them and talk them into coming up to see us for at least a little while when we are there. If I can accomplish getting the baby there, that would be a great birthday gift to Catie all by itself, as she says he is HER baby...

I've been super busy with school! SO MUCH WORK! It's exhausting. BUT, it finally seems to be calming down (for now...knock on wood).

For some reason I did not think i was that active on the board but numbers don't lie. Hopefully my boss has not noticed.

We are expecting peak bloom to be the last week in March and first week in April. So I am planning to go to the festival before work one morning and before the major tourist crowd flows in and take some pictures. I will post so all can enjoy them. Around the tidal basin they are beautiful. Love the cherry blossoms they are the sign that spring is here even if they have snow on them.

I miss being closer to DC and going to the Cherry Blossom festival.

I heard this past week, that some of tress that were damaged in Japan were direct lineage to the trees we have and they are taking cuttings from ours to replant in Japan. I think that is really cool!

That is really cool...we can give the gift back to Japan now.

I was playing on facebook...but now I'm actually going to go to sleep....like a normal person.

Something tells me that YOU and NORMAL shouldn't be used in the same sentence.

Yesterday I went to a spa and had a 90 minute massage!

Today I went prom dress shopping with DD. She was going to get an orange or turqupose short dress. She actually got a long patterned dress, in pinks and purples with some Brown. It looks beautiful on her!

How is the shower? Still in one piece?
Can't wait to see pictures of the dress.

So, I showed him the post you guys made (these above) and he told me "if you want it, buy it; you know I don't care"

But he knows that it is hard for me to justify spending that on my self.... Now what do I do?

BUY IT!!!

Work is work today... I would much rather be playing around on the thread today... or looking for D&B purses.... (hey I just figured out that D&B is David & Brandi) now I really need that purse......

LOL! Brian has Jury duty this week, and there is a possibility that he may get sequestered. T and I were texting back and forth, and decided that WE needed to get sequestered together...that would be a great vacation. Now all we need to do is get on a case with PD. That would be one heck of a great time! Too bad ablot all those miles in between!

I should keep that in mind... I might need one..... on the DIS.

Kat, I am thinking it gets too cold here for the cherry trees, we have trouble with pear trees for the same reason.

They were all good except for the getting passed driving 80....I don't think I've ever seen a road where you could go 80.....maybe at 3 or 4 am it would be possible.

Ummmm....we can easily get passed doing 80 (well, we actually have) on the turnpike up to Valley Forge...and I95 from our house all the way to the airport
RT 1 has possibilities too

I nearly got run over trying to merge on one of the interstates near Harrisburg. Seems lots of people carry the flip signs to use in that area!
