Secret Green Club - whatever number thread

Sweet dreams, Kel.

Well, we found those fingernail polish things. She got pink camo and leopard print, and then earlier this evening we alternated the patterns every other finger nail. They looked really cute, but then I had her take a bath, and apparently they weren't all stuck down very well, cause I think 5 of them came off in the water at last count. Oops! We'll have to reapply tomorrow.

My friends wanted us to go bowl at a sweeper tonight, started at 9pm, but of course is no children under 21 in the alley at all, and I don't have anyone to be with the girls. I could tell my friends (whose only child is almost 18) thought I should be willing to leave the girls home alone, and I DO leave them home alone during the day if they have a snow day or stuff like that, but during the day is an entirely different thing than 9pm at night till sometime around midnight, and I am definitely not ready for that one, and neither are the girls. So I told them I was pretty confident we would NOT be attending. I told Rick he could go if he wanted without me, but he stayed home too.

Finally went shopping today with my Christmas money, got a pair of jeans, a pair of dress slacks, 3 shirts, 2 bras and 5 pairs of panties for right at $250. I can't believe I paid $30 for shirts, that will NOT be happening often! But I only had 1 pair of jeans, so now I have 2, and a nice looking pair of black slacks for work, and 2 of the 3 shirts will be good for work, the 3rd is a gray tee with a floral pattern and says rebel in fancy letters across the front, a LITTLE too casual for my office, but its really cute.

How nice Kristi.. :goodvibes Glad you found some stuff. Usually when I have money to spend on myself I don't find anything..

Oh and Linda... She said panties :teeth:

:yay:

Did you two have a good time? :teeth:

Why yes we had a great time. I think it bothered him to see the gingerbread man held captaive but then I think he got over it. It was something about being flat I think.

Kristi, you did real good. I hate to shop for myself. It is much easier for to shop for everyone else.

very pretty bracelet Brandi!

Yesterday I went to a spa and had a 90 minute massage!:cloud9:

Today I went prom dress shopping with DD. She was going to get an orange or turqupose short dress. She actually got a long patterned dress, in pinks and purples with some Brown. It looks beautiful on her!

That is so pretty Brandi. I was expecting to see a D&B purse :rotfl:

We have something like 14 episodes on the dvr. DD is away at college and asked me to hold them for her. In the last 2 weeks, DH and I have watched them all, but still kept them for DD.
Did you ever watch Joan of Arcadia? The young man who was the most recent patient (the homeless guy) was Joan's (Amber Tamblyn's) neighbor/best friend. I wonder if she got him the job?
