Second Time Lucky

I called MS 2 weeks ago to see if they had anything for the time i was going to disney 11/28 -- 12/4 they had the 30th on. and the 28th so i took the 30th on, only if worst came to worst i would of stayed off property for 2 night or a value . I called back out of the blue just now and they had 11/28-- 11/29 avilible whew i was so like And this is the first time this has happend that i got lucky with them , So bring on my solo not so solo birthday trip

well i booked really last minute they only had my not so favorite resort SSR but since im going solo i do not plan on staying in room that much

have you stayed there before? i actually got "stuck" there once, i rented points last minute for a long weekend trip in early november 2010 for food and wine. i was so go go go that i was only in the room to sleep. never even made it to the pool. but i would definitely give it a chance again. i was solo as well and requested springs section (got it) so that i was close to the main building. also, i liked that it was the last stop when headed to the parks. since i was only 1 person it wasn't hard finding space on the bus, and i didn't have to ride all the way around to the other stops before leaving the resort. on the way back, i got off at the first stop (grandstand) and it was a quick walk back to the room. not sure if they're still doing construction, i had read that the route might be different currently.

as much as i love walking to 2 parks (bwv, my home resort), the bus service there to mk and ak leaves a lot to be desired. if i were to stay at ssr again, i would probably request congress park. super convenient to dtd, which is also a pain on buses from other resorts.

we stayed there once and i should not use dislike just the resort i did not feel that magic , but i will give many thanks to that worked in Community hall it was my DD birthday and we got a cake from wal mart and they let us have it there and they put some balloons on the chairs and a few members wandering we invited joined in it was the best thing i can say about the stay .
I do have an open mind hoping i feel different this time around that things or me have changed
