To clarify this.
If you buy direct VGF you have access to all resorts, present and future.
If you buy VGF resale, you don't have access to Riviera, VDH and probably all future resorts.
But if you resale, who buys it from you will only have access to unrestricted resorts, regardless of how you bought it. So the resale value of a contract is not influenced by the way it was purchased. So the access to other resorts in this sentence means access to unrestricted resorts. While Riviera resale has access to only Riviera. There is concern that in 2042, when BWV, BCV, BCV, HHI and VB drop out of the unrestricted list, all resale prices will drop.
The nice thing at the moment is that if you want VGF as a home resort, then you can buy direct for a similar price as direct. However, that price is still very high! If you don't specifically want VGF, spending the extra money for that specific resort, compared to some alternatives, might not be the best option.
Also, consider that buy in is not the only thing to consider. VGF is the priciest resort,
point charts wise. It takes more points than any other to book rooms there. So to stay a week you have to buy more points.
