Second Mickey Mail Packet...

I had called and switched my room preference from water view to preferred on the 12th. Apparently when I did they had already printed out my packet and sent it because the one I received on the 14th had the Disney Travel Co and DME logos on the front, it contained my souvenier tags, the DME tags and all vouchers including the DME vouchers. The itinerary/room voucher said Water view and I just assumed it would be all good at check in.

Today I received another packet. It only had the Disney Travel Co logo on the front, contained more souvenier tags, the itinerary was updated to Preferred and more of the same vouchers, no DME info.

Do I need to take both booklets with me now or can I just remove the DME info from the first packet and slide it in with the new one? The only voucher that we're going to use is the resort arcade one but which should I use, can I use both? There are different bar codes and numbers on each one.

I'm interested in the responses. We actually changed resorts altogether so the CM said she was requested a new packet but your post makes me nervous that we won't get new DME tags. The tags in the Mickey Mail we got today have the old resort on them and the CM told DH we could use them but I'd prefer to get ones with correct resort on them!
 
To be honest you don't need to bring the booklets at all. the front desk will never ask to see them, you just need to show your ID when checking in. I'm not sure if you can use both set of vouchers though. I only had this happen once and I didn't use any of the vouchers, but I would assume (and not convincingly) that the first set may be void.
 

But I don't I need the pages for DME or are those the only pages I need? :scratchin:confused:
 
When you arrive in Orlando airport, we give our ME voucher to the ME lady at the beginning of the lines. She looks at it to confirm us and then tells us which line to get in for the resort. When going home, the resort places your ME information (and airplane) information in your packet on the door in the morning that you leave. If you look at it and it is wrong, tell the desk. You can call ME directly at 866-599-0951 if you are concerned and they can look you up ad print any new information that may be incorrect. They have done this for me two years in a row when we made changes.:surfweb:
 
So I can just take the DME stuff from the first packet and bring only the second packet that has all the correct room info? Oh dear, maybe I'll just bring both and make sure I have everything covered lol.
 
I was just looking at my packet and noticed there's a bar code on the outside of the booklet. Now I'm not sure if this is for DME to scan or not :confused3 (this is the first time I've gotten DME materials in with my resort booklet) but I think I'd be inclined to bring both booklets, if I were you, just in case.

I still haven't gotten my new packet to reflect the correct resort :rolleyes::rolleyes1. In the meantime, I did call down to DME to ask them to send me correct luggage tags, since after reading your post I wondered if DME info would be left out of our second packet as well.
