Second Home Resort

I currently own 150 direct points at RR. Looking to add another 50 points this year, and eventually another 50 down the line. VGF2 pricing looks very enticing. Looking for pros/cons of having multiple home resorts. We LOVE RR, but a monorail resort is very intriguing.

How long are your trips and how do you feel about split stays?

I have two home resorts, but I wouldn't mess with it for only a 50 point contract because that would basically force split stays. I wouldn't want any one contract that was less than the points cost of a full week in a studio in summer.

I love it because we enjoy split stays. We just bought VGF for December trips every other year.

I like split stays too, but one warning against them is that when booking dining, you have to respect that they are two separate reservations. It isn't a deal breaker for us*, but a negative that you should be aware of.

*we end up changing everything a few weeks before the trip anyway

Usually a week, but we like the idea of a few nights around Christmas at VGF every other year!
