Trip - March 16-20

People - 2 Adults, 3 teenagers from China, a 2 year old

Question: We were all ready to do Discovery Cove (non dolphin package). One of our teenagers doesn't like to swim with fish, but we figured he'd get over it. We called and they have plenty of availability at DC when we're going.

Now, we're thinking that we'd save so much $$$ by doing Aquatica, and it looks like they have more stuff. But we don't know what the crowds would be like in March, and having the quiet of DC sounds good.

Then again, it sounds like Aquatica would be more fun for a toddler maybe.

What would you do?? Please help--advice needed urgently!

Having never been to either... so not sure if you can trust my decision.... but you can do a water park about anywhere, I think the dolphin experience at Discovery Cove would surely be something those teenagers would remember forever. good luck with your decision.

Doesn't Discovery Cove ticket allow u to do Aquatica also, or does it just include Seaworld and Busch Gardens?

You have to pay a lot extra to do Aquatica with DC, and we simply can't afford that. SeaWorld or Bush Gardens are included. Plus, we only have 2 days to do the two that we decide (Sea World and either 1) DC or 2) Aquatica).

I'd love to hear your opinions!! :goodvibes

You said you were going to Discovery Cove for the NON-dolphin packages, correct?

I personally would not spend that amount of money to go to DC unless all or some of my family were swimming with the dolphins. I hear it is really nice and relaxing there but there is limited things to do. I think the teens would have a better time elsewhere in your case.

Oh I see what it is, Aquatica is included as a choice only if u do the Dolphin Swim also.
