Second Guessing ADRs ...help?

So I have a semi-sweet, semi-short update about where I am for ADRs... Being the impulse-buyer, and sucker for a good infomercial/vlog, I jumped on a few "opportunities". :sad2: Something to remember is that we're on the dining plan.

I was stumbling through blogs, vlogs, and thread posts all over the "net" (they still call it that, right?), and stumbled upon the glorious idea of "Brunch at the Top" at the California Grill (I keep wanting to say Grand Californian, that's the DLR in me). Shortly, my brain was taken on a magical journey of views of the Magic Kingdom, bottomless mimosas, and a playing music. But then reality struck me and I realized that it was a signature dining experience that required 2TS credits. Perfect, this would be a great excuse to finally chop off that problematic 1900 Park Fare ADR. (Muahahaha!) :stir:

Then further into the rabbit hole of researching, I stumbled upon an "opportunity"(a discount, if you will) for Hoop Dee Doo. Things moved quickly, one thing led to another, ADRs were moved around and things moved fast. We cut our Biergarten dinner, and put to rest that 1900 Park Fare ADR. :badpc:

And boom, we a new ADR list emerged like a beautiful butterfly :butterfly:
DAY 1 - ARRIVAL DAY: Breakfast at Garden Grill (10:00am) [1TS]
DAY 2 - DAY AFTER ARRIVAL DAY: Dinner at Boma (6:30pm) [1TS]
DAY 3 - ZEBRA DOME RECOVERY DAY: Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue (4:00pm) [Paid Out of Pocket, POOP, teehee]
DAY 4 - WE'RE GOING TO BE POOP'D DEE DOO DAY: Breakfast at 'Ohana (10:00am) [1TS]
DAY 5 - BOP BOP BOP, BRUNCH TO THE TOP DAY: Brunch at California Grill (11:30am)[2TS]
DAY 6 - DAY BEFORE DEPARTURE DAY: Dinner at Tusker House w/ River of Light Package (6:00pm) [1TS]
DAY 7 - WE ACTUALLY KEPT A BE OUR GUEST RESERVATION DAY: Lunch at Be Our Guest (1:00pm) [1QS]

The new additions of Hoop Dee Doo, and "Brunch at the Top" are going to be secrets from the rest of my traveling party until I give in and explode with excitement for them. I know I'll have to tell them to dress up for the brunch, but I think the fact that there's a surprise will give them enough motivation. A fun fact ist hat I wasn't able to make one reservation for the brunch, but two parties of 4; one in my name, and the other in my brother's. The reservations are 10 minutes apart, so I'm hoping that they'll seat us together, but am totally understanding if they can't. Well who knows when our plans will change again! :crutches:

I've not done either of your two new choices, and am already excited to hear about your experiences!

I am super conservative when it comes to timing things that are out of my control. I would never make an ADR for 3-4 hours after we are scheduled to land. Especially for 8 people with the risk of an $80 charge for not making it. You never know what may go awry with a cross-country flight. I was on the 6am LA to Philly flight a few months ago. Weather was no issue, but we had two minor mechanical issues on the plane that caused an hour delay taking off. The issues weren't found until after boarding so we spent almost 8 hours on that plane. We landed a full hour late.

I'd take my chances and make a reservation for an early lunch after you are on the magic express. By then, you'll have a better idea when you'll get to contemporary. Leave timr to drop off carry on bags, and allow for plenty of time to get to the restaurant, especially in a park.

Have fun though, the rest of your plans look great!
