Has anyone ever NOT been able to get the second day free? My kids are sea creature enthusiasts and my dad is kind of disabled so I dont think we'll be able to do the whole park in one day. Id like the second day free option to maybe do some tours. (I hear you can pet penguins and have birds land on you?)
Anyone ever hear of anyone NOT being able to get the second day free?
Thanks!

Nancy -

The second day free promotion is pretty much a permanent offer, they have a ticket booth set up to the right of the exit where you can get your second day free ticket, or apply the price of your ticket toward a season pass. If the second day free is still being offered, I don't know why you (or anyone) wouldn't be able to get the second day free. I suppose they could discontinue the offer at any time (like most promotions anywhere), but I really can't imagine that happening.

Our family is going down in November and I am also hoping that the second day free program is still running. I see I am also not the only one from Flanders NJ who knows how great this website is. We love Valentino's Pizza and The After burgers.

We definately needed the second day. I think we could have easily spent 2 full days there, but only spent about 1 1/2.

from what I understand, you just have to use the "2nd day" w/ in 7 days of your original visit...we are planning on buying our tickets through mapleleaftickets.com and that's how theirs reads, get a 2nd day free - just has to be used w/in 7 days of original visit.

regarding the tours: they have a few options on tours. There was one where you got to touch a penquin. One where you can touch a little bamboo shark. I really did not like the one where they showed us how they do rehabilitation. Too much standing in the sun. These were all a few years back but interesting to do if you have the time.

According to the Sea World site, they are now running a promotion until Dec 15, 2004 of buy one day get 7 (consecutive) days free admission. Click here...

oh now were to find the time to insert extra Sea World time !!!! Back to the Planning Board .. LOL !!!

Very funny- tis a small world. I probably know your kids- I work at Mt. View. grin. We like Franks pizza best but Flanders Pizza delivers! Cant beat that.
Aynt79- I saw the blurb on the site but it appears I can just buy a ticket and "upgrade" at the park? It didnt give much detail. My kids are going to want to go on all the tours and I want to see all the shows and go on the rides- so hard to please everyone- I think we should extend the vacation. grin.
Thanks for all the info!

our 1st day was this past Fri 10/8 - we saw most of the park - but we did stay most of the day
We did return on 10/10 for a Predator tour - saw the killer whales up closer (10ft away) and petted a small shark- MIL has a FL seasonal pass so instead of $12pp it was $11pp

Alot more crowded Sun 10/10 than Fri 10/8
