Second best CS in AK?

I had totally planned to go to Flame Tree again, since we enjoyed it so much on our last trip. However, I was not thinking about how we'd be having BBQ that evening at WCC. So, what would the second best CS be?

We like the Yak & Yeti CS.

For me, the best second (or maybe first) best QS meal at AK...might not be in the park, but a 5 minute bus ride away at the AKL. We like to go over to the Mara and have some African food and zebra domes.

Yak and Yeti because the food is so good....but it's a tie for me because I prefer indoor seating so the tie is between Pizzafari or Yak and Yeti. Pizzafari has a good salad I get there and the pizza is ok, there are also breadsticks.

Y&Y cs only has outdoor seating and very little shade. I'm planning to try Pizzafari next trip, for the indoor seating and the italian sandwich.

Just a slightly different approach here. How about a late breakfast at Pizzafari? They have a brekkie combo, cinnamon rolls etc. It's in the a/c si a nice break from the heat. An afternoon pretzel and you'll have your hunger on for the Skillet.

This. We enjoyed it and it was different than the usual burgers and fries CS meal.

Since I don't care for Asian food I would have to go with Pizzafari or as was previously suggested, Mara at AK lodge. Personally I miss the Mr. Kamali's burger place. I used to love getting fresh hot off the grill burgers from there but it's been gone a long time.

I know that's why it's a tie....otherwise it would be Yak and Yeti all the way

Take the bus to AKL and eat at Mara, it blows away Yak and Yeti CS! Plus it will give you a chance to walk around the resort a little. Personally my family did not like the CS at Yak and Yeti at all, it was like cheap cheap mall chinese. We loved Mara, ate there several times and cannot wait to go back
