I know this is a family-style meal, but will they serve one diner? Also, could I ask them to serve me small portions? I had bariatric surgery and can't eat a lot at one time, but have always wanted to try Sebastian's. Of course I will pay the full adult price, but I hate to leave a lot of food untouched- so wasteful.

I have a friend who eats there as a single all the time. Not sure about portions though. Just eat what you want/can.

I've eaten at Sebastians solo and they were wonderful about bringing me what I requested to have and not to have. It is a lot of food, even though it was appropriate portions for one and they packed up any leftovers I had. I was able to have at least two more meals from the leftovers, staying at a vacation club resort. Basically, I ate salad and dessert there and took the rest, haha. Sebastians has always been very good when we have gone!

I haven't eaten there, but when I've eaten at other AYCTE places (Ohana, Garden Grill) they adjust the portions for a solo diner and say I can always ask for more if I want.

Yes. They'll serve you a pretty big platter for one person (it might be the same size as the two person platter, but I'm not sure). I haven't tried asking for a smaller one.

I’ve never eaten solo at a family style TS that didn’t give me way too much food with the 1 exception of Liberty Tree Tavern. They do scale it down but it’s still a ton of food for one person and tbh I don’t think I would recommend doing those meals as a solo who’s had bariatric surgery. I haven’t and I still don’t do them because I don’t eat enough to justify the cost (buffets I don’t mind doing solo though).

Disney is very good about food waste though, nearly all of it gets repurposed either as compost or for the animals at AK.

You will be able to pack up your food for leftovers… no need to worry about waste if you’re not going on your final day in Disney! It’s basically 1 or 2 free meals paying for itself depending on how much you ate in the restaurant.

Can definitely eat there solo, they will cater to whatever you ask them as far as portion sizes.... From what I remember we did take some leftovers
