For a first visit I would recommend going there first thing and doing everything you want to do. There are different Shamu and Clyde/Seymour shows in the summer which I think are far better than the day shows, these are the last performances in the evening. So I would recommend going on an evening as well.

As we have been many times now, we tend to do Sea World in the afternoon/evening a couple of times in the holiday.

Beware the splash zones as well especialy if you have expensive camcorders/cameras as the water is VERY salty

I have watched the videos on you tube and warned the troops we are not sitting in any splash zone

we stayed all day to see the shows however by mid afternoon we got a bit bored between the shows.
