I love May in SoCal. The weather is gorgeous, and during the week, the crowds at tourist sites are pretty light. I like to pack in lots of SeaWorld, zoo, WAP, and DLR visits in May, before the summer crowds and heat hit!

It was a beautiful 72 degrees at SeaWorld today, and even though I didn't get there until almost 2pm, I couldn't believe how few people were there! Even in the Bay of Play, there was virtually no waiting for the three rides. I didn't go on Shipwreck Rapids, but the line was not even visible from the "5 minutes from this point" sign.

I went on the Bayside Skyride and the Sky Tower, and have some pictures of the few guests below.

The Atlantis rollercoaster in the foreground, lots of empty parking spots, the San Diego Sports Arena, and downtown San Diego and the Coronado bridge in the background:

And the front entrance plaza - hardly any people there!

Wow, we have only gone in August. Wish we lived close enough to go more often.
I love SeaWorld.

God that place looks empty. Like, not as in "people," but as in "things to do." HA! Or maybe I am just spoiled from DL.
