Does anyone have an example tour plan for SeaWorld? Or an example of how you spent your day? How consistent are show times throughout the year?

This is our first trip to Florida and are spending most of our time at Disney. We are planning to go to SeaWorld the last week in October...does it make that much of a difference to go on a weekend vs. a weekday? We were thinking about either Thurs Oct 30th or Sun Nov 2nd.

We will tour from about 9-4pm...I know we won't see everything but what can we reasonably expect to accomplish?

I was there about 2 weeks ago on a Saturday and I really didnt notice a big difference in crowds, I usually only go during the week but I met up with some family.
You definatly need to see the Shamu show, Blue Horizons(dolphin show), Odyssea, Clyde and Seamore(sealion and otter show) and Penguin Encounter(not a show). There are only 3 rides there, Kraken(rollercoaster), JOurney to Atlantis(log flume) and Wild Artic(simulator).
As soon as you get in the park just grab a map and it will list all the show times and you should be able to get to those shows in one day. Also if you dont buy tickets in advance and there is a huge crowd to buy tickets, use the ticket machines to the left of the ticket lines its so much faster and easier than waiting on line.
I will actually be there around the same time as you, 10/24 till 11/2 hopefully the crowds are not bad and it wont be that hot.

We are probably going to be there around the same time (oct 25-Nov 1). Is there any nighttime entertainment? Fireworks? I assume this is considered offseason s am wondering how the shows vary in the off season.

Also, isn't there a kid area with rides for them?

Thanks!!!:)

If you want to feed the dolphins, it's best to go to their area as soon as possible in the morning. It normally gets really crowded otherwise.

Other than that, we plan our time around the shows.
