Hi, i'm think of spening 5 nights here prior to a stay at universal and then disney. Has anyone stayed here? i am keen due to its location to Seaworld( and can get bus to bushgarden) and also pick up for KSC. However i have read it can feel like a convention centre?. Has anyone stayed with children?. thanks for your help

It is a beautiful property with oversized rooms and yes, it does feel like a Convention hotel. I wouldn't let that stop you from staying there. You can walk across the street to Seaworld. Additionally, they have a fabulous Sunday brunch.

We've stayed a few times and never felt like it was 'just' a convention hotel. It's upmarket, it's smart looking, it has a real quality feel to it, but we would definitely stay with children. The location is great, the restaurants are fabulous, and if you're there over a Sunday you can visit the Sunday Brunch and feel like you won't have to eat again for a week! :teeth:

the lobby is pretty GREAT.

but the rooms are okay. they are larger - but they were double beds (not queen) - even had a desk and a small sofa.

Stayed there 2 years ago. Rooms were ginormous! Very clean pretty hotel. Pool was nice and big. It does look like a convention hotel but, it's very classy and clean and the grounds and common areas are beautiful. I would definitely stay there again!

Thanks for all your help- can't wait to stay now. Best wishes, Ruth
