I'll be at SeaWorld with my 13 yr old nephew on July 9th. Do we need to purchase their Quick Que? Or, should we have plenty of time to see and do all SW has to offer without it?

I'm interested to know this as well. We are headed to Walt Disney World for our first ever trip and leave in 10 days. Just last night it dawned on me that if we are going to fly all that way then we should at least visit Sea World too as we have never been there either. So now I am doing last minute planning. Please help! :)

You don't have to purchase Quick Queue unless you think the crowds warrant it. You can always wait until you arrive at the park and gauge the situation from there.

Quick Queue is advantageous only for those looking to partake in the rides and attractions that use it: Manta and Kraken (both coasters), Journey to Atlantis (a water flume ride), Skytower (a revolving "room with a view"), Wild Artic (a motion simulator) and Turtle Trek (a domed 3D theatre). If you are not ride lovers, or plan on focusing mostly on shows and animal feedings, then you may not need the QQ at all.

SeaWorld is a great park! Its a great addition to a Disney trip :) . Feel free to ask any other questions you might have.

Didn't really look into Quick Queue before. I saw that some "on site" properties have them for free. Do other "nearby" properties also do that?
We are staying at Marriott vacation club nearby. Kids aren't that into rides, but if it's free, why not.

Only the 7 "official" hotels of SeaWorld (found here: http://seaworldparks.com/seaworld-orlando/Vacations/Hotels/Official-Partners) offer the free Quick Queue passes to guests.

Partner hotels (found here: http://seaworldparks.com/seaworld-orlando/Vacations/Hotels/Partners) offer a $5 discount on QQ per person.

Unfortunately, the Marriott Vacation Club isn't in either category.

We went to SW last Saturday. We did not buy the QQ, and I was really worried about it. We walked on the Manta and Kraken and then waited 5 minutes for Atlantis. The only line we stood in was for Antarctica, and we waited for 1 1/2 hours, but QQ won't do you any good at this ride (unless that has changed in the last week) The Antarctica ride is really not that good, in my opinion. I would not wait that long again.

The Marriott doesn't offer free QQ. We love the resort though! Which one are you staying at?

Elder: What time of day did you do the coasters and flume with those minimal waits?
