We expected the crowds in July to be awful. Had already spent 4 days at Disney so we knew what to expect. We were shocked at how rude the crowd at Seaworld was and then realized the difference was Disney's crowd control. Seaworld's crowd control was virtually non existent and the rudeness plus the heat ran us off by 4pm. The crowds at Disney were just as bad or worse and we did not have any pushing or shoving ever. At Seaworld it seemed we were constantly being shoved, rammed, elbowed, smacked, stepped on or kicked in the fanny while sitting in the bleachers. I know I sound like the crabby witch from hades but note to all the mom's out there. I know your little darling wants to pet the dolphins but you don't need to shove old men to the ground for it - also, please remember that stroller was not actually intended to be a ramming device.

As for the attractions. Clyde and Seymore was wonderful as was the dolphin show. Shamu show was interesting in it's own way but we liked the dolphin show better. The Jewels of the Sea aquarium at Atlantis was a great surprise tucked away in a place no one seems to look. Our men enjoyed the free beer at the Hospitality Center. None of us particularly liked Fusion. The manatee exhibit was wonderful. Wish we could have heard the facts about manatees but the machine was broken. Wild Arctic, we took the foot path. The animals were fun but the pushing and shoving got out of hand and we left. We also had trouble in the Shark adventure. The way the crowd is funneled through invites pushing and shoving.

I was really looking forward to Seaworld and there were things I REALLY enjoyed. But the lack of crowd control coupled with the lack of places to sit and rest in the shade for the grandparents in our group made the visit much less enjoyable than it could have been. I expect it's alot more enjoyable during less crowded times of the year. If we ever go that way again I'll consider Discovery Cove instead.
