Seaworld: How are the crowds? Do we need quick queue?

I am going to Seaworld at Christmas time and would like to know how are the crowds? We are planning on going Dec 23. Should we buy the quick queue? how long are the lines for the rides?

I know that is a very very crowded day at Disney so I am guessing SeaWorld would be pretty busy as well.
I would do the rides early in the day and late and do the shows or animal viewings during afternoon/evening.
Their Christmas shows are very good.

You can buy Quick Que once your there. My suggestions would be to either 1)wait till you get there to see how the crowds are before buying Quick Que, 2) Stay at an Sea World Hotel that include free 1 trip Quick Que http://seaworldparks.com/en/seaworld-orlando/vacations/hotels/ or 3) Buy a package that includes the Quick Que.

I'm going right on a solo trip after New Years and got a real good deal on a 2 park package. I got tickets to Sea World and Busch Gardens, 1 trip per ride Quick Que at each park, Preferred Seating at Seaworld, a Refillable Cups that Care and 1 night at CoCo Key for $166. You might be able to book a 1 night vacation if your planning on spending the bulk of your time somewhere else and get a good deal bundling everything together. I'm basically getting my hotel Free (or getting the Quick Que's free as a backup incase the crowds are bad).

For a Christmas trip, preferred seating for the Christmas shows might be the better purchase.

I responded to your PM but decided to post here as well. I found the package on Sea World site. http://commerce.4adventure.com/estore/scripts/skins/sfs/HotelPackages2.aspx . When I looked yesterday, the package was still there but as of this morning the "two great parks" package is gone. Busch Gardens still has their "Thrills and Chills" package which would have a hotel in Tampa. http://seaworldparks.com/en/buschgardens-tampa/vacations/thrills-chills/
