SeaWorld- Halloween Spooktacular???

Hey All!!!
This October will be my 1st Disney/SeaWorld/Universal Trips Bringing my Kids and Im SO Excited!!!! Whats More Exciting is All the Halloween things will be Available!! The Only NOT So Exciting thing is the Schedules aren't out yet and me Having to make our Dinner Reservations were Stressful!!!!
Does anyone Know when they Might Release the Schedule for the Halloween Events??? I see they have Trick or Treating and All!! I saw in 2012 its Only on Certain Days, so I NEED to make sure One of those days are Open for SeaWorld!!! And Is all the Days they have this going to have the Same events???

SW does not release show times and event schedules until closer to the event. Since Spooktacular starts in sept sometime in august. Would be the schedule. Spooktacular is only on weekends. They do not hold the event during the week. They will have craft booths, under the sea characters and trick or treating.

Spooktakular will be days in October that have a 8:00pm park close time. So based off of the online schedule, the days with 8:00pm close times are....

Saturday, October 5th
Sunday, October 6th
Saturday, October 12th
Sunday, October 13th
Friday, October 18th
Saturday, October 19th
Sunday, October 20th
Friday, October 25th
Saturday, October 26th
Sunday, October 27th

I'm almost 100% positive that those dates will offer Spooktacular shows and events. Each Spooktacular day will offer the same shows, and events.

Unlike Disney, the Spooktacular trick or treating and Shows are included with park admission. Trick or Treating usually starts around noon and takes place on a large pathway full of booths and activities. Some of the activities like face painting, etc are extra costs. But the trick or treating is always free. There is usually a large dance floor and kids activity area along the pathway at the old ski stadium that is also free. Usually there is a Shamu Rocks night show which is a special Shamu show only performed at special times during the year. It will be different than the Shamu day show. Something that was new last year, was they had a small preshow before the Shamu Rocks show that involved costumed characters, dancing and an overall fun time for kids. If you are interested in seeing the Shamu Rocks show, I would recommend getting to the show 45 minutes out since there will only be one Shamu Rocks show that night and it will get you a good seat and also get you there in time to see that new preshow.

Another extra show is a Halloween Sesame street show. This is also a great show for kids. Another bonus is kids can come dressed in Halloween costumes. Overall, the event is really great for kids. Not scary at all like a Busch Gardens Howl O Scream or a Universal Halloween Horror nights. I think you will have a great time!

The dates for Halloween Horror Nights and Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween have been released..

Not sure if you were going to be able to do HHN since you have the little ones with you but you could use the dates as when to avoid US..

As PP said the Halloween Spooktacular is only on weekends (and Halloween I believe) so you should be able to figure in where you would do that around the other things you planned to do.

If halloween falls on a weekday there will be no spooktacular. Its weekends only.

Does Seaworld do anything on Halloween day/night (Oct 31)? My husband and I will be in Orlando From Oct 26- Nov 1 and were looking for a quiet day to do Seaworld for the first time. I know MK will be a madhouse that night but wondered if Seaworld only does Halloween activities on the weekends, would it be pretty empty on Oct 31 while all the locals do their own trick or treating at home?

Unless October 31st falls on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, there are no Halloween events that night at Seaworld. So yes, Seaworld will probably be really empty as most kids are out in their neighborhoods trick or treating.
