SeaWorld Dolphin Interaction Unavailable

I'm hoping to book my wife and kids on a SeaWorld Dolphin Interaction adventure this summer. Unfortunately, the SeaWorld website has not had an option to book the Dolphin Interaction for weeks. The Beluga Whale program is available, but not the dolphin.

I know the Dolphin program is probably more popular, that's why I'm looking into it now for a trip in 8 months, but I'm growing concerned that there is still nothing available.

Can anyone help me with information, and perhaps some insider tips to make sure I am able to surprise my family with this wonderful gift on our vacation this summer?

Construction of the DIP area may run over. I wouldn't worry too much. I don't think they have sold out but there just isn't a startup date when the pool would be available.

As lump mentioned, it is unavailable due to construction. SW has quite a few projects during this off-season. If you're going before summer and are particularly interested in something, check the website first to avoid disappointment. It's kind of like DCA right now!!

Thanks for the advice sonnyjane. My family and I are planning to be in SoCal in August, along with what seems like half the western world. We timed this visit to match the opening of the new DCA expansion (hopefully) like so many others seem to be doing.

The plan is, a day trip down to San Diego where I will (again, hopefully) spring the surprise dolphin interaction on my family.

I'm assuming August will be a high-demand time for the dolphin interaction, so I hope to get a jump and secure a spot as soon as possible.

We're actually planning to book the Beluga and Penguin encounter programs for July - but last I checked they only had dates available through Feb! So I wouldn't worry too much about it yet anyway, since they may not accept any bookings this far in advance.
