We are debating on leaving disney to go to Sea World for a day. I have only been once, back in 93' . I have heard from others that its pretty bad crowd wise because its the only park of its kind in the area. :confused3 Would it be wiser to take the kids to Universal instead? They have never been to either and I want to get the most out of a day. Which ever we choose.

We were there June 5th. We went in the afternoon around 2ish and stayed until 9 or so. I didn't think it was crowded at all. We parked right up front, got into every show we wanted to see less than 15 minutes before the start times, and had no trouble walking around. We have been to SW San Diego twice before and Orlando wasn't half as crowded. It was a refreshing break from Disney crowds actually and probably one of our favorite days...it was a bit overcast too so not as HOT that day!

We have season passes to Sea World and are there often. The only time I noticed that it was really crowded was when we went on Dec.26th last year. All other times that we have been have been very manageable.

Well, it doesnt sound too bad... I had visions of Magic Kingdom during easter week:scared1: I really want to take my two boys to see Seaworld. I know they will love it. I just didnt want to take them if we would ony get to see half of the park. The first trip to Magic Kingdom was pretty bad so they really arent crazy about going back. I guess we will have to try it... Thanks for the info::yes::

I agree with the other posters- start at about 1-2pm at SW and stay through to park close. The morning crowd tends to leave by this time and it's a lot quieter. Most of SW is shows and you'll find you won't be waiting in line half as much as any Disney park.

As for SW vs. US I would pick SW everytime. Purely because it's completely different to anything Disney offers. Your boys will love it.

xx

I think because of the way Sea World is set up it hardly ever feels crowded. It is a great time and the summer night shows are just AWESOME!

Your kids will love it!:dance3:
