I know we get admission to SW and Aquatica with purchase of DC but was wondering if it is allowable to visit both SW and Aquatica on the same day??

that could be a very long day....
there is a lot to see and do in both of them.

Yes, you can visit both parks in the same day, but as mac said, a long day. If you visited Aquatica at open, then headed over to SW for Dine with Shamu or similar, could still be very enjoyable. But, yes, unlimited use for 14 consecutive days.

Thanks! I know we can't possibly do everything. We have limited amount of time so I figured a few attractions at SW then go over to Aquatica for a couple of hours.

We haven't done Aquatica and SW in the same day, but we did DC and SW on our last three trips and found the days really manageable and enjoyable. We've been to SW a few times so it worked when we just wanted to hit the highlights. It also probably depends on the time of year and park hours. I could see us opening Aquatica then going to SW around 2-3. I never thought about doing it the other way, but it might be better for crowds and lines.

Wow! Thank you so much for this thread. I am staying DVC December 26-January 1 but I still have to purchase park tickets.
I have four adults in my family, my dh, dd-22 and ds-18. If I purchase DC I could spend the full day there, correct?
I then can go back during my week stay and go to Sea World. I have no clue what Acquatica is but I'll investigate.
I also have unused Water Park tickets that could also be a day so maybe only need 1-2 Disney park days each.
Thanks.

Your Discovery Cove admission includes a full day at that park (officially 9 am to 5:30 pm, but I would recommend arriving by around 7:30 am to enjoy breakfast before the water features open) PLUS 14 days admission to both SeaWorld and Aquatica. You can use your SW & AQ admission either before or after your DC day, or a combination of both.

Aquatica is SeaWorld's waterpark, and is well worth a full day of fun. Not only is the park colourful and fun, but they have a spectacular family water attraction called Roa's Rapids that is the highlight of the park. Its a definitely-not-lazy tubeless river with a swift current that will sweep you along at a nifty little pace. If you have younger kids, they also have a HUGE interactive family play structure with a tipping bucket, multiple smaller slides, and an assortment of interactive elements. There's a big sand beach with free loungers and umbrellas that borders two side-by-side wave pools, a nice assortment of large slides for the thrill seekers, and even some animal elements (Commerson dolphins, massive turtles, exotic birds).

js, check out the new sticky at the top of this forum....our moderator, macraven, kindly allowed me to start an Aquatica photo thread (and I managed to get the first 60 pictures uploaded to it so far....more to come). Hopefully it will help give you an idea of what kinds of things to expect at that water park :).
