We are pretty organised for our next trip but haven't bought any tickets for Seaworld yet even though its my favourite park. Can UK visitors buy annual passes and if so is it best to buy them when you get there or before you go. As we are going again within 12 months it seems a cheaper option but just need to check with someone who has done this.

Had SW AP a few times, bought again at Easter.
We buy 2 year passes, you get the 2nd year at 50% off, $100 for 1 year, $150 for 2 years. We also add Busch Gardens for 50% off making it $225 for both parks for 2 years. (all + tax)
We waited until we got there as I had heard they start as soon as you buy them now(in past activated on 1st use) bought them using EZpay, $10pp/month for 2 years. Continues after 2 years until you cancel but interest free.

We bought 2 year annual passes whenwe were out there last September.

Already used them for 3 days over 2 visits and will use them for at least another 2 days before they expire.

While it doesn't apply in your case, this may be useful information to others...

If you are planning a trip to Southern California and can spare a day at San Diego, pop to SeaWorld and buy a platinum pass there. It's exactly the same as the one you buy in Orlando and gets you in to all parks and has exactly the same benefits, but it's so much cheaper ($259 vs $429). We did this and then used it for our next two Orlando trips and saved a fortune!

You can also buy it online at the cheaper price, but you still have to validate it first at San Diego before you can use it anywhere else.

We bought the 2-year pass last year. We were concerned it was going to start when we bought, as opposed to the first time we used it, so we ordered online the day before we flew, and opted to have the printed out voucher to exchange at the kiosk when we got there. As it was, once we scanned the barcodes at the machine, the tickets were issued for that date onwards.

As a quick guide, the 2-year pass is equal to 2 on-the-day admissions. We only planned on visiting maybe once per trip, so would have done on-the-door, so that was our reasoning for getting the 2-year pass. Plus, you get all the other benefits, like 10% off food and merchandise, free sky tower rides! :D

The free parking and the discount on food & merchandise are great. Last September we had to rent DD a stroller as hers got soaked in the rain the night before and wasn't dry in time and we got 10% off that as well :thumbsup2

We spent four days there last year so I guess we will recoup our money straight away.
Do you think we can get 10% off wheelchair hire too?

Yes you do but can't remember what the saving was. I think it could be $10 instead of $12/day

Just logged into my passport account and new coupons for this summer have been uploaded.
Seaworld Tshirts $19.95 instead of $29.95 retail
10% off the new Sea Lion spolight tour
And a free dessert with adult entree after 5pm.

Thanks Wayne. We have been thinking about doing the Sealion Spotlight Tour as they are my youngest sons favourite animals, we spend ages in that area every visit :rolleyes1

Not anymore unfortunately, started charging for AP holders when we were there at Easter, I was not happy, won't be going up there again.

Well, that's not on! I'm glad we went on it twice last September then! We were due to go to SeaWorld in May, but we ran out of days to incorporate it. It's scheduled in for our September trip, but I will be sad to not get to ride on the sky tower this time :(
