Having signed up for the Rapid Rewards program where do I find how to get 20% off SeaWorld tx?

Thank you DIS-ers!

I don't know the answer to what you posted, but I know of another offer for seaworld that I stumbled upon on the seaworld site. The deal is for $53.95 per adult and $44.95 per child, you get a seaworld 1 day admission, a meal voucher per ticket for lunch or dinner, plus a free 20 oz. bottle of pepsi. I think this is about 5 bucks more than the reg. admission for 1 day. It is a promo with Pepsi, and you need to put in a code from a pepsi product, which I have a bottle here, so use 12. You just need the first 2 numbers of a UPC code from a Pepsi product to order online. I just went to the site, all you have to do is go to seaworld.com, click on seaworld orlando and then look to the left for Pepsi All in One. You do not need to bring the UPC code to Seaworld, it is all done online. Hope it can help.

I compared the two. For one adult and one child ticket, the difference is $18 (you pay more with the Pepsi deal) So if you think you will spend $18 on food then I'd say go with the Pepsi one. If not, use the SW deal. My understanding (And I hope someone can confirm this) is that you show your RapidRewards card at the ticket counter and purchase your tickets right then.

Hi Sandy Feet!
To get the SW Rapid Rewards discount, you just have to show your card at the gate. You can't use it to purchase tickets in advance.

The Pepsi Promo is also a good deal. But you would need to compare costs. It could be more economical for your family to spend more for the promo deal but get a meal out of it or you could spend less than the gate price for admission and use the money you save to buy a meal.

Thank you Hulabird.

Total before tax for 4 adults 1 child

Sea World = 260.75

Southwest deal (20% off) = 208.75

Pepsi Deal = 260.75 incl. lunch vouchers

What is the average lunch cost for a family of 5? More than $52?

Thank you Coinkc,

In addition, for a family of 5 we would need 2 Rapid Rewards cards, which isn't a problem I'll sign up DH.

So. What to do?

I am not sure what the restaurants are like at Seaworld, last time we went we only ate breakfast in this little bakery and did not eat lunch there.

I would imagine it would be comparable to prices like at Disney in the park restaurants.

I am planning on eating lunch there this time, so I will probably get the Pepsi thing.

Would appreciate any info on the seaworld restaurants if anyone knows.

Yes, you could easily spend more than 52.00 for lunch for a family of 5. The pepsi deal also includes more than just lunch. read it again.

Info on the restaurants can be found on the website. There is also a board here regarding Sea World. http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?forumid=32

For the Pepsi deal, do the vouchers differ for a child or adult ticket? And could we use the Pepsi deal & show our tickets for a second free day (assuming SW still offers this in Nov)?

What more does it include other than a Pepsi and lunch? Maybe I'm missing something.

Here is the info from the SeaWorld Website

"Visit Busch Gardens Tampa Bay or SeaWorld Orlando with a Pepsi All-In-One Ticket – for the same price as one day’s admission, you’ll get admission to the park, lunch or dinner on us with a refreshing fountain Pepsi drink plus a 20 oz bottled Pepsi later in the day. You get this all for the price of one day’s admission - $53.95 plus tax for adults, $44.95 plus tax for children ages 3-9."
.........
The voucher can be used for lunch or dinner, and then a 20 ounce drink at any of the counter services...thats 2.50 right there. We are using the Pepsi deal and using the vouchers for dinner, you will save more money using them for dinner instead of lunch.
But even if you used it for lunch, it can be a good deal, figuring that the cost of lunch at a counter service would run at least $8.00 per person.

Good morning!

I'm wondering if it would be possible to do this. If we get the second day free (I think you have to exit through a certain gate or something to do this), and we didn't use all of our lunch vouchers, could we use them on the second day visit? Are the lunch vouchers dated, or would this be possible?

I think I remember something from the Sea World boards that said you must go to a certain window when you exit the park in order to get the 2nd day free.

Would it be best just to contact Sea World directly?

Helen,
The prices for lunch and dinner at the counter restaurants are the same. This program does not include the sit down restaurants.

I don't think you get the second day free with this promo. BUT, you do have to go to a window near the exit for the second free day (you can do this when you arrive, btw).
You might be better off calling Sea world directly, it would end a lot of speculation.

This is from the Seaworld site and what it says for what the tickets include:

I guess that there ARE sit down restaurants that are included in the Pepsi promo, not just counter service. That is good news.

I called Sea World earlier this afternoon and was told that the 2nd day free would apply to this promo. I was also told that the lunch/dinner vouchers must be used on the first day of use with the ticket, and not on the subsequent visit. The gentleman who answered the phone said he had this question come up several times recently (using the vouchers on a later visit).

I guess if everything else fails, go to the source! I'm not sure what everyone else's experience with the vouchers is, but it sounds like a pretty good deal. I went back and read an earlier thread about this on the SW boards. It seems that the portions are rather large at the restaurants.

If memory serves, all the ones listed as not valid are the only sit downs there. The rest are counter.
