I am not a complete "spa virgin", having had many a massage in my life, but I've never had a seaweed wrap before. As a birthday present to myself I booked the seaweed wrap and hot stone massage. Would someone please tell me what the seaweed wrap entails. My knowledge consists of situation comedy episodes when the person is completely wrapped up and then has to pee, so goes hopping off in search of a bathroom.

My husband is addicted to seaweed wraps!! Basically they plaster you in a seaweed mixture customized to what you want (he gets the muscle relaxing one). You wear paper panties, get slathered, then get wrapped up like a combination mummy/baked potato. Your head and feet are sticking out, and they get massaged as you "bake." Then you are unwrapped, shower, and get a half body massage. You feel VERY VERY detoxified after the wrap, like you've sweated every last toxin out of your body and have turned into a limp noodle. My husband falls asleep every time.
