You know me better than that Briar I was not one of these people, but I've seen pretty harsh reviews from people that gave 5 star reviews on Aengus' podcast. Just a little warning.

I'm listening to it now. I am impressed with anyone able to podcast.
I'd love to podcast (not specifically only VMK) but wouldn't know the first
thing about doing so.

I happened to like the other podcast, and I know Aengus did, as well. I'll give this one a listen, as I'm sure there's a lot of useful information in it

Just wanted to give a couple pieces of constructive criticism. First, I noticed someone on your site left you a comment that said you were too quiet, and I'd have to agree with that. For the most part, I could hear fine, but it almost sounded like you were whispering. I don't know if you were being shy because it's your first episode or it's something to do with your microphone or what. You sounded loud enough in the beginning and then gradually got quieter. If it was just you being shy, don't worry about that. There's nothing to worry about or be afraid of And along those same lines, even though you were quiet, the background noises were really loud a couple times. I don't know what the noises were but if you do, try your best to keep them away from the microphone next time.

The only other thing is that maybe you can try to transition between segments a little better. You can say something different, but that's the hard way. The easy way would be just to play a sound effect or music clip in between segments. At least, that sounds good to me when I've heard other shows do that. I don't know what everyone else thinks.

Aside from that, content-wise, you have the makings of a really great show. Just work on the sound issues and you should be all set for your second episode

I havent heard this yet, but I want to say immediately that I LOVE when I see new VMK podcasts pop up. I dont ever feel threatened by it. information is king! The more the better! I had no idea that my peeps were giving bad reviews I will be sure to discuss this in my next podcast (which will be soon the current SITUATION delayed me from anger LOL)

Back on topic, I will for sure listen to this podcast!

I have to agree with what Mint said. Your content was good, but I did hear a lot of paper shuffling around. Heheh. Nice job so far.

Just checked it out, and yes what mint and briar said is true. Still enjoyed it tho

I dont know if you ever heard TIVMK #1 or not (I HOPE NOT!) but dont worry, that doesnt mean anything

You will improve with each episode, at least I like to think I did haha. Some advice, dont let some early critics get to you, they might turn into your #1 listeners later

It hurts when people leave some wise comments, but suck it up, and hold your head up and try to prove them wrong next episode. I have noticed alot of podcasts have quit that were quite good, I think they let the comments get to them.

Thanks for the great advice aengus I appreciate it a lot! I'm working on getting some music for my podcast right now, because the 2nd episode is already recorded. As for the sound quality, it was a mixture of me being quiet and my iriver isn't the greatest thing to record with heh

haha you dont have to talk to me about the iriver it took me 3/4 of a year to get that thing recording right LOL
