Alaska Airlines announced today that it will begin daily service from its Seattle hub to Orlando on May 22, the first-ever scheduled non-stop service between the two cities. “It’s hard to believe that until now there hasn’t been an easier way to get from Seattle to Orlando,” said Gregg Saretsky, Alaska’s executive vice president of marketing and planning. The carrier plans to run one daily flight each way between the two cities

I am so excited!!

We live in NC but I am from Washington State. We are taking my two 13 year old nieces to Disney in October. They will be flying alone so I wanted non stops!! YES!!

That is great news. We have been going to WDW from Seattle since 1991 and never had a non stop flight. The best was to Atlanta then down, which wasn't bad this is better. Thanks for the info, won't help trip in May since we already have tickets, but it will for the next.
