Seattle Peeps!

There's a restaurant just off the freeway, on the East side of I-5, if it's still there. I don't remember the name of it off hand, but it's a country type setting. In fact, when you walked in the door, I remember a rooster crowing was the sound to let the staff know someone just walked in. I'll see if I can find the name of the place.

I found the name of the place. It's called Country Cousin. As far as I can tell it's still around. The parent company's website doesn't list it anymore, but I did find a couple reviews for the place as late as January this year. If it's not still there, we could meet there and make another selection. I know of a place just a bit further south, Exit 72 off the freeway, called the Rib Eye. Foods not bad but if it's really busy, there's not a lot else around there. Pretty much the Rib Eye, McDonalds and the Taco Bell inside the Gas Station. More options around Centralia/Chehalis area.

Country cousin is still there. Right in Centralia where all the outlet stores are. You can't miss it. I would consider joining all of you if it wasn't for my nephews wedding reception.
I haven't posted here, but have lurked. Lol. I live in Gig Harbor area of WA.

Sounds good! Any good places to eat in Centralia? Does noon or 1ish sound good?

Which is better for you? Noon or a bit later? I'm game either way. So far it looks like it's just you and me confirmed with one or two others who may be able to make it depending on their particular schedule that day. Suggestions?

I'm beginning to wonder how many people are going to make it. It's a bit of a drive to Chehalis/Centralia. If there's only going to be me and one other person because of schedules, I'm wondering if maybe we should push it out a week or two so others might have a chance to join in.

Thoughts from the Lurkers who would like to join in? :confused3

I'm not going to be there. But I will ride Spaceship Earth in honor of y'all! :thumbsup2

I can go, but I was thinking the same thing. It's a long drive for just a few of us. My DS16 just competed in Javelin and place 2nd in his school which is awesome, but now I get to travel to Gresham on Friday for other track meet. That's a lot of driving for 1 weekend. But if more people are up to a meet I'm in.

Just popping to say hello from almost-famous Vancouver!!!

I happened to be browsing down all the forums and "Seattle Peeps!" caught my eye. :thumbsup2

I too have a lot of driving planned for this weekend. Since we haven't heard from anyone North of the 'Couv, I'm going to say that I'm not going to head up to Centralia this weekend. I know there were a couple of others who were interested in this meet but had other obligations, such as a Wedding conception, er, reception.:scared1: Oops, almost walked in the wrong room. ;)

Let's see what we might be able to plan in a few weeks so we can try to get more people who would like to join in.

Oh looks like I just missed this post. Well If it gets rescheduled I need to keep and eye on it. I'm all for meeting more Disney friends.

Looks really fun, but that's the day of the Rock n Roll marathon and I will fly to wdw that night for an 11 day trip.
