Seattle Peeps!

Vancouver would be great. I'll be in summer school in July (no I wasn't bad, I didn't flunk any of my classes, I started one of my science series a quarter late, so I have to do summer school to get in the next one in the fall), so I'd probably be able to make that meet up. :thumbsup2 Any farther than that and I'd probably not be able to do it. :guilty:

Woo hoo! :woohoo: I'm so glad to see more people joined in! I agree, let's wait for it to dry up a bit. I think July may be good timing if everyone is in.

Does everyone agree Vancouver would be a good spot? If not we can come up with a different plan.

If anyone wants to meet up earlier, speak up! I'm game whenever!!

The 'Couv sounds like as a good place as any. I'd be up for a meet sooner than July. We'd just have to make sure it's indoors. :rotfl2:

You know you're from the Pacific Northwest when you understand the difference between partly sunny and partly cloudy. :rolleyes1

Vancouver works for me! Not sure about July tho. Might be in WDW! Just waiting for June/July discounts to come out... I did book today for my first solo trip for August :cool1: but I hope to move it up! I should change my ticker but not what to change it to yet. :rotfl:

We could always get a group together before July. :confused3 I'd be game for just about any weekend day that ends in a Y. :thumbsup2 (as long as it's not a weekend I have to cover for someone else's vacation time.)

Awesome! I'm good just about any weekend except mid-March. I should be freed up around the 19th or so. Any suggestions for late March or April?

Poppin in to say hi. I am not sure if I could meet, but it is nice to say hi to some "locals" and who knows...if the plans mesh right I might be able to make it. However..we are not going to WDW until December, so I have a bit of a time to wait and read along if nothing else. popcorn::

I have never ventured to the solo trip boards since...well...with 4 kids..a soon to be son in law I am rarely alone. :sad2: Ok, so maybe it isn't all that sad.... ;) My point is..maybe there are more PNW people not reading on the solo boards who would be interested in a meet??

I agree. Where do you think would be a good place to post about this? Also, anyone have a specific date in mind for the meetup?

How about sometime towards the end of March? Like around March 25th?

As for a place, I think if we shoot for somewhere around Centralia or Olympia, that might be just around halfway from Portland and Seattle. Of course Centralia does have the little outlet mall. There's a restaurant I've met people at before just off the freeway there. I think that's right around exit 86 or so. I used to pass it on my way to Ocean Shores every 6 weeks and the exit for Ocean Shores is 88B. :confused3 It's an idea. I'm also open to suggestions.

My fiancée and I are on the Eastside (Bothell). We'll be at WDW in mid-September for our Disneymoon!

I'd love to meet up in March, but just remembered we have family in town for the last two weeks of it.

Would April work for anyone? What do others think about where to meet up? Would Centralia work better than Vancouver?

April, so far, sounds good to me. I'm up for Centralia. It seems to be about halfway from Portland to Seattle.

April could be possible for me, but I'll be a game day decision depending on school work. :thumbsup2

Hi all -

I live in Newberg, Oregon and am a friend of Kenn's. I haven't chimed in because I have been crazy busy with work, but I have been lurking. Getting together for lunch sounds good to me, and Saturday, April 2nd will work. So far. Unfortunately I can't really do game day decisions because so much of work schedule involves planned meetings, trips, shoots, conventions, speaking engagements, etc that I kind of have to know ahead of time what day I need to set some time aside.

But it's nice to see other Pacific Northwest Disney people! Yay! :yay:

I jog. I'm 30. I'm single. I like Scottish Terriers and Gardening. Any other questions? :)

Sounds good! Any good places to eat in Centralia? Does noon or 1ish sound good?

There's a restaurant just off the freeway, on the East side of I-5, if it's still there. I don't remember the name of it off hand, but it's a country type setting. In fact, when you walked in the door, I remember a rooster crowing was the sound to let the staff know someone just walked in. I'll see if I can find the name of the place.
