Seats & sweets worth it & question

Was able to get a Seats & Sweets reservation for our June trip. Am excited because haven’t seen HEE and excited about not having to scope out a spot on Main Street before. How is the view from where they seat you? Also, I think there is another after fireworks dessert party, does that mean we have to leave and can’t just hang out until the park empties?

I prefer the dessert parties that offer viewing from the garden, however, you would not have a seat in that area. Seats and Sweets does not offer the best view, so it's a trade off - garden area, better view, no chair or chair on terrace with lesser view.

The after-party takes place on the upper terrace so does not interfere with those attending Seats and Sweets.

We did seats and sweets the first week HEA returned and really enjoyed it. Like you, my primary rationale for booking it was to have a guaranteed spot for viewing and not have to worry about staking out a spot early in the evening. View of the fireworks themselves is fine - you're a bit off center. You have a GREAT view of Tinkerbell flying (weather permitting). View of the projections on the castle is obstructed and cannot see the projections along Main Street. I really appreciated that our party had our own space in the table as compared to the other viewing area where people are pretty packed in. And while that view is technically better, in my opinion you're just as likely to have your view obstructed by someone standing in front of you, putting their kid on their shoulders, holding up a camera etc. and I'm just not a fan of the shoulder-to-shoulder viewing (I know, what am I doing in WDW ) One added bonus to seats & sweets, I'd been sure they would stop serving once the fireworks began but they kept everything open, and we actually grabbed some more treats after it was over and relaxed while the park emptied out.
