seating time for CG

Oh no! Now I'm regretting our time for next week! When we made our ADRs DH told them that we wanted to be there during Wishes. They gave us a 9:20 ADR for Sat and encouraged us to ask for a window seat when we check in. But reading this, I'm wondering if all the people who had earlier ADRs will still be at all the tables? Will we at least be allowed up in the lounge area after check in and be allowed to go on the balcony if our table isn't ready? I understand that window seats are in high demand and don't expect to get one just because I ask for one, but what if there are no tables available in the entire place and we have a 40 minute wait?

When exactly are you going to be there? DH and I will be there on Saturday, 8/13 to celebrate our anniversary. ( Our ADR is for 9:00)

We're going to be there the Saturday before you, 8/6. This whole trip is an anniversary celebration for us(our anniversary is 8/2 and our vacation is 8/1-8/8) It's our 2nd anniversary and we wanted to something special since we didn't really celebrate our 1st because we closed on our first house a couple days before it! We are so excited! This is our first big vacation since our honeymoon!

I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time. We will be celebrating (gulp!) our 23rd anniversary. We are really looking forward to it. We love watching the lights come on in the Magic Kingdom, then watching the water light parade (can't remember the real name) and then the fireworks. If I were you, I'd go early and have a beverage and then eat. It's such a beautiful, fun place. Congratulations! I'll be thinking of you.

When we were there we were very surprised that the party at the table next to ours left at 9:30, thus making that table available. Their server encouraged them to stay & have coffee in order to stay for Wishes, but they chose to leave.
So, don't think that a table can't be ready for you. I would suggest that you do check in early for your ADR ~ that way if something comes available earlier you will be there.

I'm sure that if you haven't been seated before Wishes begins you will be allowed to go up & go out on the balcony.

I imagine they would let you up early if the table isn't ready. BUt there may be no seats at the bar or in the lounge area either. Both aren't very large areas, and seats (at firworks time) are at a premium. People have been known to sit for hours at both places waiting on the fireworks.
